Chapter 03: Drama at the mall

The next day being Saturday, Gregor wanted to spend the day with Flora. He decided to take her shopping; he always do and knowing that she’s obsessed with clothes that will make her happy. He had already taken his bath and was fully dressed. He woke up flora long time ago and she’s still not ready, women and taking so much time when it comes to dressing up. 

He signed and went into his study to while away time while patiently waiting or her to get ready. An hour plus later, she was ready and at the same time Gregor came out of his study when he heared her call his name. She was looking breath-taking and he couldn’t take his eyes off her, he walked closer to her sneaked his hand around her waist and kissed her. 

“You look so beautiful” He said breaking the kiss

“Of course, I’m a beauty; I have to always look my best” She said proudly as walked to the mirror to make sure her lipstick was intact.

“Yeah I know, but thank you would be more appreciated” he said as he grabbed his car key

‘Thank you’ is one of the words that is missing and will never be found in Flora’s dictionary. Even when it is finally found, she hardly says it. She will never say thank you because thinks she deserves all the attention and worship or probably because she’s a proud as a peacock, there’s no need to be appreciative. Gregor knows this but never fails to tell her how beautiful she is, because if he doesn’t; then trouble and drama is bound to start. 

Flora rolled her eyes and walked out of the room first followed by Gregor. They got downstairs to meet the dining table already set with breakfast. Gregor answered the maids greetings while flora ignored as usual. The maids know better not to cross her way, they are extremely careful whenever she is around. 

“How are you doing son?” Mrs. Kim asked as she walked into the sitting room

“Good morning Mrs. Kim, I am good. Hope you are good?” He asked as he turned to her with a smile

“I am doing well dear” she answered smiling back

“Good..Morning” Flora greeted reluctantly

“Don’t force it” Mrs. Kim waved at her. “Enjoy your meal son” She added referring to Gregor  leaving the sitting room at the same time.

They ate breakfast silently only the sound of the cutlery clicking on the plates was heard. A few minutes later they were done eating, the maids came to clear the table while Gregor and Flora made for the door. They walked to his car park and Gregor opened the door of the Porshe for Flora to get in, he walked to his side entered and drove out. 

Immediately they got to the mall, all eyes were on them, Flora enjoys this a lot. Gregor stepped out of his car and went to the other side of the car to open the door for Flora. There were not many people around but those that were outside the mall started taking pictures, he waved at them and the cheers became loud. 

Upon entering the mall, they noticed it was just a few people around. They stopped and stared at the beautiful couple, Gregor’s self-assured personality and the luxury suit went perfectly with Flora's long, flowing hair and lovely form. He stopped to sign autographs for those that came to meet him and he pose for selfies too. Flora took pictures with some of them too, she seemed to enjoy the attention.

They finally entered the store and were greeted by the staff who immediately recognized Gregor and Flora. They were led to the private changing room where Flora could try on the latest designer outfits.Gregor proved to have an acute sense of style because he picked Flora some pricey clothing.

When she put them on, every dress looked stunning on her. Gregor sat down on the couch and waited for Flora who was still trying on designer shoes, clothes, and Jewelry. 

This was going on peacefully until she noticed one of the salesgirls staring at Gregor admiringly. At first, she wasn’t bothered but when the girl continued she got mad. 

“Hey, you! What the hell are you looking at?” She asked, walking over to the sales girl

“Umm, not…nothing” The girl stammered

“Did you just say nothing? Eye fucking my boyfriend? You idiot” Flora spat boiling with anger

Gregor hurried over and made an effort to calm the situation. "Flora, please calm down. 

She’s just a salesgirl. Let's just leave if you are done shopping” 

Flora was not having any of it. “Calm down? No, she needs to learn some respect, she got none!” She dragged the girl closer to her 

“Now listen to me, if you dare look at him again, I will make your life is a living hell. Got it?” Flora hissed

The salesgirl being so scared and frightened by Flora’s rage nodded

“Babe, let’s leave, its okay” Gregor stepped in again 

But Flora wouldn’t stop. “ He’s unavailable, get that into your thick skull. Slut” She cursed at the salesgirl

Gregor made payment for all she bought. The tension was much, the other customers and staffs watched in absolute shock. There was murmurings everywhere but few could be heard 

“Is she this insecure?” One lady with blond hair asked no one in particular

“I will do worse if I’m in her shoes” Another lady said and shrugged

“Are we to close our eyes whenever we see him? This is Gregor Lionel we are talking about, he is so fucking hot, handsome, name it….. he has it all” A lady with thick black hair said dreamingly

“Don’t let her hear you, you might be the next victim” The lady with blonde hair warned and continued shopping. Others also dispersed 

Gregor managed to pry Flora away, leading her out of the store. Immediately they got outside Gregor didn’t know what to say to Flora who was still furious. After a while, he took a deep breath trying to calm himself down. “What was that back there?” He asked

“I don’t just like it when these sluts look at you like that” She snapped

Gregor sighed and took her hand, “Baby girl, you don’t have to worry about that, you are the only one for me”

“Yeah I know, but that’s how it starts” Flora scoffed avoiding eye contact with him

“It’s not as easy as you said,” Gregor said leading her to the car

“Sir……You forgot these!” Another salesgirl from that same store shouted running to them with bags in her hand

“Oh, I forgot. Thank you so much” Gregor thanked her as he opened the door to the backseat, the salesgirl dropped the bags on the seat and ran back inside the mall heading to the store. 

He entered the driver’s side and drove off heading towards the main road. As he was driving, all that happened at the mall kept replaying in his head; he wondered why she always make a fuss about little things that doesn’t really matter.

He looked at her and imagined if there is ever going to be a day that they would spend time with each other without`t her causing drama. He sighed out and a few minutes later Flora turned to him and said

“I’m hungry, I have exhausted my energy because of that stupid girl” Flora said and brought her phone out her handbag

“I’m hungry too, lets go eat” He said and made a right turn to the road that leads to a Restaurant

He drove into the first restaurant he saw and parked the car, he came out of the driver’s side and opened the other door for Flora whom he noticed has calm down and was no longer frowning. Flora’s mood was lifted a little bit when she saw that it was a Japanese and Thai restaurant, it has been long she went to a restaurant like that and she also misses the food.
