It was late at night, and Andrea was fast asleep in her room when Lana heard three consecutive knocks on the door.
Being busy in front of her laptop, her eyebrows furrowed, and she glanced at the wall clock hanging on top of the refrigerator.
"Who is this? It's past nine o'clock, and who would even think to come by at this hour?" she whispered before standing up.
Lana first peeked through the peephole of the door to see who it was. After a while, her chest immediately trembled when she saw Andrew standing outside.
It took a long time for Lana to react. So she was even surprised when Andrew knocked again, but this time, it was more persistent and seemed like he couldn't wait.
"What do you need, and why are you here? It's late," she asked formally after opening the door for the young man. "Andrea is already asleep, so if you can leave and come back tomorrow?" she shooed the man away.
But Andrew ignored her and instead lifted the corner of his mouth before speaking. "Can I come in?" he replied, bringing his face even closer to hers.
Lana quickly felt a wonderful shiver when the smell of alcohol on Andrew's breath crossed her face. That's what she noticed, explaining why she didn't seem to be herself when she nodded.
"Would you like some coffee?" she asked after closing the door, with Andrew already inside the house.
Andrew's faint laugh did not escape her hearing. "Sounds like a real wife," he said, then started to step closer to where she was standing.
Automatically feeling alarmed, Lana decided to take action and went to the kitchen to make coffee for the young man.
Unaware that Andrew had followed her, she accidentally dropped the teaspoon she was holding, making a noise on the tiled floor when he spoke behind her.
"Are you okay, Lana?" amusement was in Andrew's tone when she looked at him standing just a step away from her.
Lana nodded one after another and then turned her back on the young man again to continue making his coffee. But her chest tightened even more when she felt Andrew's both hands on her waist.
"Lana," Andrew whispered in her ear, causing her to sigh violently.
"Andrea might wake up," she said, trying to free herself from the young man's grip, and she succeeded.
She walked away from Andrew, bringing his coffee cup into the living room, then laid it on the center table. "Drink this and then leave," she calmly shooed the man away.
Andrew just stared at her, then, as if nothing, he wet his red lips. Later, the young man stepped closer to her again. So she was immediately pushed back to the slightly open door of her room.
"I don't like that," he said, referring to the coffee he had mixed, and then continued to take steps closer to her.
Lana swallowed, and since her room was behind her, she had nowhere else to go but in there. "W-What do you want?" she asked nervously.
The corner of Andrew's lip lifted once again, and then she was finally grabbed by both shoulders and gently pushed into the room. His quick actions were able to push the door shut and then press the knob lock.
"Isn't it obvious to you that I want you?" Andrew pulled her arm, so she ended up hugging him.
She struggled to free herself, but because the man was stronger than her, she didn't do anything when he pushed her against the wall and then bent down and kissed her hard on the lips.
It was as if Lana's whole being was paralyzed once again as she tasted the lips that for how many times made her lose her sanity. The lips she had dreamed of since she became a fangirl. Since she became his fan. And these were the same reasons why Andrea came into her life.
She knew it wasn't the first time Andrew had kissed her. In fact, the man had done more than that to her. But Lana could not understand why she was so weak at that very moment.
Was it because he himself admitted to her that he liked her?
She wasn’t sure, nor did she understand everything.
Andrew kissed her long and hard. She could not handle the man, no matter how hard she struggled. Especially when he held her hands even more and raised them above her head.
Andrew became even more aggressive at that moment.
Lana let out a violent sigh as Andrew pressed his body hard against hers while continuing to kiss her. Until she felt his hand on her buttocks, then the next thing she knew is that she was lifted by him.
Lana's eyes widened as she felt the hard object bulge in the front of Andrew's pants.
"I want you so bad, Lana," Andrew whispered as he released her lips for a moment, then claimed them again afterward.
At that moment, all of Lana's restraint finally gave up.
Maybe that was also due to the fact that she too was always excited and looking forward to something like this.
So no matter how hard she tried to get out of the young man's arms before, she was the one who wrapped her arms tightly around his neck now.
She responded with warm kisses on his lips, as if Andrew had no plans to let go of her.
Soon, she started to moan when she felt Andrew's gentle bite on her lower lip.
What the young man did brought Lana back to her sanity. She was even able to slap Andrew, which shocked him so much that she managed to get away from the man's seemingly iron arms.
"P-Please leave. I don't know what you want to happen, but it's better if you will leave now," she said as her voice broke.
The man just stared at her. "I know you like me too, Lana," he replied to what she said.
Lana's mind was very confused. Maybe that’s why her emotions changed so quickly. And that’s also the reason why she gave up so easily and became vulnerable to Andrew’s simple kisses and hugs.
She shook her head then wiped away the tears. "It doesn't matter if I like you or not, Andrew. All I want now is for you to leave. I don't want Andrea to see you here at this time and night," she replied.
Andrew's jaw tightened at what she had said. "You can't take Andrea away from me," he said emphatically.
"I'm not going to take her away from you. But for your information, I just want to remind you that we have lived without you! I brought her out of this world without you! We can handle and we will be fine even just the two of us!" she said in a low but firm tone.
"It all happened because you hid her from me!" Andrew's strong response was also in a low tone.
"Because that's the right thing to do!" she replied.
Andrew laughed softly. "I'll be back," he said as he left the room.
When she heard the sound of the car leaving, Lana finally let out her tears. Many questions filled her mind, and her concern extended beyond herself to Andrea.
“I don't like that baby Cecille! She is a plague! She is a plague in my life! Don't bring her near me!” Alice's hysterical cry to her older sister Cecille echoed through the room. Cecille's eyes warmed even as the intense anger she felt for her younger sister consumed her. “And what is your daughter's fault in all this? It’s not her fault that the man who got you pregnant ran away!” Cecille retorted, her voice carrying a furious tone directed at her youngest sister. A week had passed since Alice gave birth, yet she hadn't touched the baby. And that hurt Cecille deeply. But she couldn't force Alice to accept her own child; her sister's rebellious nature was a barrier. "I don't care! If it weren't for her, I would be in Japan today, already making a lot of money. I could have bought what I wanted! Unlike now, I don't have any money in my purse! I even have a problem with her diaper and milk!” Alice replied without changing her tone. Cecille let out a heavy sigh and then bowed to t
Three Years Later… "Where are you going again?" Mama Cecille asked as she helped pack the clothes for the company outing. “In Palawan, Mama. Don't worry, I'll buy you a beautiful set of pearl earrings and a necklace,” she promised with a smile. Her aunt rolled her eyes but smiled. "Just come home safe and sound; I will be happier with that," she replied. Lana laughed softly then stood up and hugged the woman who raised her as if she was her own daughter. "Thank you, Mama, I love you so much," she said, kissing Cecille on the forehead afterward. “Three days, after that the next day would be your birthday. When you come back here, I will cook you your favorite Kare-Kare,” she said, patting her arm. It was then that Lana let go of Cecille from her tight embrace. "Imagine, I'm already twenty-four; how time flies," Lana commented then followed her words with a light chuckle. Cecille stared at her and spoke. "The only thing that is missing in your life is color, sweetheart," she said
Before noon, they reached Palawan. They stayed at a beautiful first-class resort where modern cottages immediately grabbed Lana’s attention. "Nice!" Lana heard Rodora exclaim. Rodora, a regional manager like Lana, was a close colleague, only slightly older at twenty-eight. “I might meet my Prince Charming here. Can I just stay and live here?” Rodora said, followed by a loud laugh. Lana chuckled softly at Rodora's comment. ***** Lana laid herself down on the soft bed inside the small cottage assigned to her. Every regional manager had their own cottage for privacy, a great privilege of their company. Later, Lana got up and pushed open the sliding glass door to the veranda. The view was beautiful. A few meters away was a more elegant and bigger cottage with a white Land Cruiser parked in front. "Whoever is there is very rich," she said, smiling. Lana stood there for a while, quietly observing the beautiful surroundings. The light, fresh air caressed her skin, blowing her wais
The same night after their team-building seminar, they ate dinner at the resort's restaurant. "Oh Lana, why are you so quiet?" Rodora asks when she notices her silence. "Since lunch, you've been like that. Why, don't you like your cottage?” she said in a teasing tone. Lana shook her head, then handed over the glass of orange juice and drank. “N-No Rodge, I'm just tired. I haven't slept yet,” she reasoned. Rodora nodded and then finished the food on her plate. “I'm going back to my cottage. I'm going to rest. You wanna come with? ” she asked her afterward. Lana thought for a moment and then forced a smile before she consecutively shook her head. "I'm fine, just go ahead," she said. Outside the restaurant, she parted ways with Rodora along with their other co-workers. Lana smiled, just waving them goodbye, then started walking around. She couldn't understand the nervousness she had been feeling since she found out that Andrew's cottage was next to hers. The young lady laughed sof
Past five o'clock the next day, Lana woke up to a noise coming from her veranda. Sounds of cutlery and plates filled the air, and after a while, the fragrant aroma of brewed coffee finally made her get up from bed. "W-What the ---?" Lana was stunned to see a delicious breakfast prepared for two people on the veranda.** "Good morning," Andrew said as he sat down, obviously waiting for her. "Let's eat," he said, standing up and leaning over to approach her. "W-What are you doing?" she asked then spontaneously complied with what the man wanted to happen. The young man's thick eyebrows rose. "Why, don't you want this?" Lana was stunned and then quietly watched what the young man was doing. From the way he poured coffee into her cup to putting syrup and butter on her pancakes. "Thank you," she said shyly, smiling at Andrew afterward. "You know what, I've only just seen eyes like yours," he said, staring into her eyes. Lana laughed softly there and then started eating. “Really? That do
That evening, the same day, Lana's workmates invited her to go to a bar. At first, she didn't want to go. Whether she admits it or not, all day long she has been thinking about what Andrew said earlier that they will meet again. And even if she didn't speak, she couldn't deny to herself that she was looking forward to the next things that might happen between her and the young man. At the thought, Lana's face quickly blushed. “The next day we will be returning to Manila. Don't be a killjoy, you are the youngest in our group but you are the most 'aunty' when it comes to behavior,” Rodora preached to her as they left the conference hall. Lana sighed. "I'm just tired, Rodge," she reasoned yet somehow it was true. “Of course, we'll just be there for a while. We can't stay long because the meeting is early tomorrow,” said Lerma, who holds Region Five. That was when Lana sighed again. "O-Okay, it's like I still have a choice," she said laughing. Lana just made dressing up easy. She w
LANA felt at her feet the red dress that Andrew had dropped; thereafter, he unzipped it. "I was right about your body," he said, gazing all over her almost naked figure. "You are a goddess," he said, touching her waist afterward. "Tell me, sweetheart, is this your first time?" Andrew whispered, bringing his face even closer to hers. Lana let out a violent gasp as Andrew's hands began to move across her. "Mmmmm, y-yes," she moaned again when she felt the young man remove the hook of her bra. "I'll be gentle, I promise," the young man said, putting his hands inside her lacy pants, which were the only covering left of her body. "Oh god, Andrew!" Lana exclaimed when she felt the young man's finger that now seemed to be teasingly touching the clitoris of her womanhood. "Do you want this? Is it wonderful?" The young man speaks in a tone that only she can hear, even though they are the only ones there. "Tell me, don't be shy," he continued seductively. Lana's whole body trembled so much
LANA is no longer in her sanity, while Andrew seems to be recklessly flirting with her femininity using his own mouth and tongue. She is aware that someone like the young man is certainly good in this aspect. But the feeling that she is the one that Andrew is making happy is something that she still can't believe. "Nice, you're so nice, mmnnn," she growled, then pulled Andrew's hair. The young man did not speak. Instead, he inserted his finger back in her entrance again and then started to move it in and out. At the same time, he again caressed her femininity with his mouth. “Oh god, you're great! You are so great! "Lana said that she even danced her own hip unknowingly, even though there was no music. “Oh, I can’t take it anymore, Lana.” When Andrew lifted his face, that was when their eyes met. Lana saw the flame of intense desire in his eyes. That's why her longing to be finally claimed by Andrew also intensified. "Get inside me, deeper, nicer," she said, pulling Andrew's nec
Lana's eyes immediately warmed as she looked at a familiar cottage that for almost five years it’s just now that she had seen again. It was at the same resort in Palawan where she and Andrew first met."Are you okay?" then she was stunned when she heard that amuse question from her husband. With tears in her eyes, Lana looked up at her husband. At all times Lana always tries not to be emotional. Especially when it is for her daughter. Because for her, she would not be able to think clearly if she would give in to her emotions. But at that moment, she didn’t know if it was because of the extreme joy she was feeling. Or was it because of all the hardships she went through before she met the man, she loved the most? So, it was as if she feels like she wanted to hug Andrew, bury her face in his wide chest and pour out all her emotions in there?Eventually, her tears seemed to have a mind of their own that spontaneously flow and wet her face. She just let them go.She was very happy. And sh
TWO MONTHS LATERAndrew looked sadly at the still unconscious Lana. Two months after the accident Patricia committed, his girlfriend remained inside the hospital. In the ICU where he waits for the return of the woman he loves, every day.At the thought, he angrily clasped his fist.Patricia is currently in jail, and he has no plans to drop the lawsuit against her. She hurt Lana and it was only right that she pays for the wrong she did to the woman he was going to marry."Sweetheart, come back, Andrea and I really miss you," he whispered while still staring at the glass wall of the ICU.He did not know if this was his karma for all the mistakes he had made before. If only he was the one suffering, that's okay. But because of him, Lana also suffered. And he can't accept that thing. He knew that in Lana's condition now there was no definite time when she is going to wake up. At the thought, the sigh he let out was heavy and then he smiled bitterly when he thought
CRYING while trembling with anger Patricia consumed all the wine in her glass. Then she stare again at the new issue of a magazine with the face of her most hated woman in the world on the cover. None other than Lana. It's been a month since she and Andrew last spoke in his office and just as the young man told her. He has not even renewed his contract with the agency.Patricia sniffed and then wept as she refilled her glass. She knew everything Andrew said was true. She knew she couldn't be angry with the young man no matter what else he did. But she is in so much pain and she can't blame everything on the man for how much she loves him."There's only one person to blame for all this. And that’s you, I hate you! I hate you so much, whore!" her furious shout that referred to Lana then threw the glass she was holding. She wanted to be hysterical, she wanted to kill someone, and she wanted to retaliate right now. That's why her hand seemed to have a mind of i
"I PROMISE," Lana smiled sweetly before caressing the young man's face. That's all and Andrew kissed her. At the same time, Andrew's hand was remained moving and exploring every part and curve of Lana's body.Moments later as Lana’s eyes remained closed, she felt the seemingly gentle caress of something on her body that was causing a strange horror and delicious sensation to her.She opened her eyes and let go of kissing the young man. It was then that she found out that Andrew was holding a rose that the young man was caressing on her nakedness.Lana's heart was filled with heat because of what her boyfriend had done. Then Andrew kissed her again. At that time the flower was no longer in his hand, so she moaned when she felt his manhood gently touched the jewel between her thighs.Lana gasped because of the delicious sensation that the man had brought to her. Then she also did her own exploration of Andrew's body. Until her hands finally moved to his furious manh
"L-LOVE? You love me?" Lana asked incredulously as tears continued to flow down her cheeks. When the young man remained to kneel in front of her then his hands touched her face. "I love you so much Lana," Andrew brought his face close to hers and then kissed her tenderly. The young lady cried even more when she heard that. "R-Really?" when Andrew released her lips.Andrew nodded then stared at her. "If I only knew that it feels so good to let you know how I really feel for you, I would have confessed to you sooner. I'm so sorry if I made you wait to hear what you need to hear," she felt in the young man the sincerity of his words that filled Lana’s heart with great happiness even more."I love you too Andrew, I love you so much. You and Andrea are my world now," she would tell the truth and then caressed the face and hair of the man she loved. The young man nodded in succession. "I will give everything I have just to make you happy. I will do everything just t
IT WAS six o'clock in the evening when Andrew and Samantha finished. Exhausted, the young man decided to spend the night in the condo unit because it was closer to Scott's branch where he came from. The young man was just getting in his car when he heard his phone ring. Samantha came home first and was just picked up by their family driver.Andrew immediately smiled when he read whose name was registered on his phone screen. He felt as if all the tiredness he was feeling had suddenly disappeared, so he didn't wait for it and hurriedly answered the call.*****A BEAUTIFUL smile broke from Lana's lips after that conversation with Andrew. The young lady remained to stare at the beautiful white lace curtain she had placed on the four poster-bed in Andrew's penthouse. She knew Andrew would like that and she couldn’t wait for a possible reaction from him.Lana quietly arranged the two wine glasses in the center of the coffee table. She didn’t know why she was doing this
Lana shook her head and let out a deep sigh at what the woman in front of her said. And as much as possible, she didn’t want to lose her composure because of this. It was okay to be kind, but this time, and from the contour of the woman's tongue, she didn't seem to need her kindness."I know you heard me, you're not deaf, are you?" Rhyza's steady question. It was then that Lana leaned her back against the back of her swivel chair. "Yeah, I heard you," she said calmly then smiled at the woman.Rhyza's eyes immediately widened, and she seemed to be impatient that she was even able to hit her hand on the top of her desk and then pointed a finger at her. "Damn you girl, I'm serious. I said, I'm pregnant and Andrew is the father!" she stared at her angrily.Lana refrained from smiling but she couldn't help it. "You're funny," she said laughing softly again. She saw that Rhyza's face reflected the intense irritation that she feels for her. "I'm not joking!” she said emp
"SO, finally we met," Patricia said when he invited her to his office at Scott's Cafe's head office that same day.Andrew just smiled then made the woman sit down. “There are things I just want to discuss personally with you,” he said.Patricia laughed softly and then seductively crossed her beautiful and smooth legs. "I guess, about your contract?" she picked up the cup of coffee and drank. That was when Andrew straightened up and then stared straight into the woman's eyes. "I want to apologize for everything I've done to you," the young man begins.Patricia's eyebrows met along with the rapid clouding of her eyes. "What are you talking about?" her perplexing question.Andrew took a deep breath then kept staring into the young woman’s eyes. "I'm quitting show business, Pat. I'm not going to renew my contract to the agency," in a low but refined tone, that was what Andrew said.*****"MA'AM Lana, someone is looking for you," said
"STOP calling me! I can't give you any information about Andrew!" Patricia's irritable growl at Rhyza, who was last in a relationship with Andrew before the real villains returned to her life,. None other than the young man's daughter and its mother, Lana. "Aren't you his manager? Why can't you find a way for me to talk to him?" Rhyza's persistence in her tone is already sly. Patricia's eyes rolled in annoyance. She had always really not liked this woman because, well, she had to admit that she was actually more beautiful and seductive compared to her. But of all the women in and who have been in Andrew's life, this was the only one who dared to command and dictate to her. Patricia smiled bitterly. She was indeed happy when she heard about the separation between Andrew and Rhyza. Who and for what reason or who broke up she no longer knew. What is important to her is that her rivalry with the young man be reduced. But now, if only she could do something, she would want to put everyt
