CHAPTER 85: NOT PICKY

I refuse to turn to them and look directly at Mr. Thorne. "What I do is nobody's business but mine."

"You're not even going to try to deny it?" He narrows his eyes at me. "You actually slept with him, and now he's telling everyone what he accomplished." The words stung, but I knew that the minute I slept with Justin, he was going to run his mouth.

"I don't have to explain what I did or didn't do to anyone. Especially not to anyone in this room," I say, looking at the door.

If I can get past him, I'm free and out of here.

"Don't even fucking think about it, Via." Mr. Thorne's voice is laced with pure anger.

I suddenly feel someone directly behind me and tense up. "Tell me he's lying, Via, and you can leave this room." I shiver at Mr. Montgomery's voice.

I stay silent—I have nothing to explain to them, and I don't want to hear them. I do want to run out of this room, though.

"Answer him, Via." Mr. Beaumont's harsh voice breaks the silence, and I feel weak.
