CHAPTER 89: SUNSHINY SARCASM

"Don't you think that's a bit of a stretch?" Micah and Wyatt randomly enter our conversation. "I mean, there were twelve of us and only one of her."

"I wouldn't doubt it, though. Remember the time she entered the guys' locker room to confess her love for Eliott?" Wyatt says, making us all cringe.

Now that I think back on it—that girl was fucking weird. So fucking weird.

"Anyways, what's fatherhood like?" I ask Micah, trying to change the subject.

"Different, to say the least," Micah says, and I nod.

"Yeah, there's no time to get laid," Sergio says, but Micah and I ignore his joke.

"Especially when the mother of the child doesn't want to be present through the whole thing. It becomes a handful," he says, making me shake my head.

Sergio, Wyatt, and Maximilian begin to have a conversation on their own, leaving Micah and me alone to talk.

"Single fatherhood isn't bad. I'm doing just fine," I state, and Micah looks at me, confused.
