"To Keep or Not to Keep?"

My thoughts were jumbled as I watched my ex-wife's sleeping form. Despite all the torture, she still slept so peacefully. Perhaps she had given up on escaping completely. Right now, she was even willing to do whatever I said. She was now just an empty shell.

She was no longer fun to torture. The sex wasn't that good if she just lay there unmoving, letting me do all the work. She would stare at me with such blank and emotionless eyes. Even when I hurt her or made a remark about her pregnancy, she didn’t flinch.

"How boring," I thought. I had successfully broken her; that much was certain. But what the hell was I going to do with a broken vessel? I had my entire revenge plan laid out, and none of it involved turning Emelia into an emotionless zombie.
