I wasn't surprised to find Deric waiting for me. He had requested we meet before I set off to meet Emelia, I knew he had information about our pack to share, even though I was disguising as a human now, I was still the Lycan King and I had responsibilities that lie there too. Thankfully I had people to do most of the work for me.

" Have you been waiting for long?" I asked him. I felt bad that I hadn't warned him about my absence before going out, I hadn't expected to stay out for long, but whenever I was with Emelia, I seem to lose track of time. An enternity could pass and I would hardly notice. This was just how taken i was by her. " You can go back to rest first, we can discuss this tomorrow "
