CELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV
The beta had already left an hour ago, and yet I’m still here in the same pond where I was hoping to reach out to the moon goddess. My heart hasn’t stopped racing ever since I heard about Stella bearing the child of Siege.I know that there’s still a chance that babies or pups won’t be formed since they recently did it. So as early as now, I have to find a way to prevent Stella from getting herself pregnant, no matter how many times she tries to have sex with the alpha of the Crimson Moon Pack.I didn’t give up calling out to Sarina. She will definitely get tired of hearing my voice sooner or later, which is why I’m positive that she will show herself in less than a few minutes. And I wasn’t mistaken when I caught a glimpse of Sarina descending from the moon itself. Her appearance was literally glowing. She wore a white dress, and her hair was floating all over her body.“You loCELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV The path that I took was too foreign to me. It's the first time that I've stepped foot in this area where there seemed to be a lot of villagers and warriors that were scattered all throughout the place, which made it quite difficult for me to cross to the other side. I continuously asked for them to let me pass, but none of them listened to me. They were all occupied in their own worlds; they didn't care about the people that surrounded them. "Ah!" I gasped when I hit my own feet, causing me to lose balance. But before I could fall, I felt a strong grip of a hand on my arm, catching me with my eyes shut. "What are you doing in this place? It's pretty crowded here compared to any of the places you've been to." A familiar voice of a man expressed his concern for me as he carefully assisted me in standing straight. "Master Kristoffer?" I wasn't expecting to see anyone I knew here,
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV Each and every single one of our footsteps had no sound. I was trying my best not to place Kris in a tight spot, so I was the one who took the lead, even though I wasn't quite familiar with this place. Even so, the beta made sure that I was going in the right direction and wasn't bound to get lost. He kept on telling me which way to go; he warned me about the spots where pack guards were on patrol; and he also told me about the blind spots where it was the safest to cross. I initially thought that Kris wouldn't be this obedient. It's as if he was also hurt by the fact that his brother got someone else impregnated other than his rightful mate, and it was Kris' sole motivation as to why he made up his mind to help me with my plan. "I think we're near," I mumbled to myself, catching a glimpse of a spot where I used to hang out with Ace. I finally got to breathe comfortably, thinkin
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV Time seemed to have stopped the second that Siege pulled me around to force me to face him. I knew that the spotlight was directed towards my sister at the stage, who was still giving out her speech, but for the very first time in my life, I felt as if the entire crowd had their eyes set on me and nobody else. I could barely see his face, but I can't be mistaken that it was the alpha who was in front of me. "Why did you agree to have Stella as the Crimson Moon Pack's Luna, Siege? This wasn't included in any of our previous conversations at all. We still have to return to our world, right? You're just toying with Stella's heart, right?" I consecutively questioned him, letting my vision get blurry with all of the tears that gathered in my eyes. Siege asked me to let go of him, so I released my hold on his wrists. "You're still not ready to be on the same level as me, Celestina," he said, comparing me
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV The utter disappointment that I quickly felt as soon as Siege tried to defend Stella from me while she wasn't around made me realize how lowly the alpha thought of me. There wasn't anything else running through his mind other than letting my sister have a peaceful life, as she was expected to give birth to his pups. And when she's done giving birth, it will be up to the alpha to decide if he will discard Stella or let her stay as long as she desires. Who knows? The alpha might learn how to completely fall in love with the sister of his real and fated mate. I faked a smile as I made my way to the exit of the pack house. I had no other business with them. My motive was to disrupt the Luna ceremony and let Stella feel humiliated in front of a huge crowd, and all of that got blown together with the wind after Siege's last message. "I wonder where the beta is," I whispered to myself
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV The two of us didn't waste a single minute. Lucas told me to hurry up and catch up to his speed, as he had his limbs enhanced to make full use of his agility. We didn't really have a proper discussion about what we should do after we arrived at the Crimson Moon Pack. We only wanted to make Siege and the rest of them feel intimidated by our presence. Lucas said that I shouldn't falter when I'm about to announce the declaration of war if either Siege or Stella still refuse to take the Luna ceremony down. I informed him about the path I took with Kris, and it was supposed to be the only peaceful way for us to cross to the other side, but I was mistaken. "There are guards all over the gates, Celestina. I didn't think that the security would be that tight. Siege never cared about that before," Lucas mumbled as he stopped his tracks to observe the pack house from afar.
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV It has been quite a long time since I last saw Ace, and I think that was the main reason why the way he spoke sounded much more mature than before. Ace ordered the rest of the pack warriors and guards to back off, and all of them made way for Ace to walk in front of our spot. "I still have a faint remembrance of what we used to share, so please leave while I'm still being nice, Celestina. I'm not the same person as you know," Ace said with a serious expression written on his face. Regardless of what he said, I refused to believe him. It's not like there's a chance that his memories were partially erased, but judging from the way he acted, he's making the impossible possible. "There's no room for retreat now that I'm here, Ace. Certain scenarios led me here, and I doubt that you know about them. I'd appreciate it if you could let us pass," I replied, now showing an ounce of emoti
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV There was nothing else left for Ace, Lucas, and I to discuss after the alpha himself declared that we were surrendering for now. Even in Ace's wolf form, he was still considerate enough to let us take our path away from the Crimson Moon Pack without having someone ambushing us. Lucas was walking at a slow pace, but he was still the one who took the lead. I bet that he's ashamed to face me right now, especially not with his injured body, and for retreating like he had no other trait besides cowardice. "We're going back to Leo? Wouldn't he be enraged if he saw you alive and realized that I fooled him into believing that you were really dead?" I asked out of anxiety, troubled that the beta would be far worse dealing with than Ace. The alpha shrugged his shoulders, along with a shake of his head. "I can't tell. Leo is unpredictable, and the way he thinks is kind of psychotic, if you
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVThe three of us went to the Crimson Moon Pack's territories without anyone getting in our way. Unlike when it was only Lucas and me, the pack warriors and guards just easily let us pass the gates, which made me wonder if the Luna ceremony was already finished as Ace strictly protected the mansion from being infiltrated."Why do you keep on looking around?" Ice asked.I wasn't supposed to give him a response since Leo was also with us, but I had no choice; I couldn't ignore him. "Everyone seems to be so obedient, unlike earlier. All of them fought with us and didn't even let a finger of mine pass through the gates. So I'm just anxious about their sudden change.""Someone probably ordered them to let us in. It's either Kris or Siege himself," Leo uttered, which kind of made sense to me if both of them were already expecting that I'd go back here for the third time, even after saying that we'd retreat.A few minutes later, we were already in the lobby of the man
