CELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV
Even though I already had a few hours of rest since the incident yesterday, I was still feeling quite helpless. Ice remained with Leo, and they were never out of either one’s vision, even if they had to go to the bathroom.I understand that they have to watch out for one another’s back, but Leo was going a bit too far; he’s going to traumatize Ice at this point if he still doesn’t stop. My mind was still going through so much, and I don’t think that seeing either of them would help me at all.“Lady Villarama? The beta wants to see you downstairs,” said one of the butlers that was scattered along the wide space of the mansion. “He told me to let you hurry; it’s an urgent matter,” he added before he bowed his head with his hands above the others.I hissed after I thanked him and took my leave. I wanted to try and avoid Leo for the entire day to see how it would change his personalCELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV The beta had already left an hour ago, and yet I’m still here in the same pond where I was hoping to reach out to the moon goddess. My heart hasn’t stopped racing ever since I heard about Stella bearing the child of Siege. I know that there’s still a chance that babies or pups won’t be formed since they recently did it. So as early as now, I have to find a way to prevent Stella from getting herself pregnant, no matter how many times she tries to have sex with the alpha of the Crimson Moon Pack. I didn’t give up calling out to Sarina. She will definitely get tired of hearing my voice sooner or later, which is why I’m positive that she will show herself in less than a few minutes. And I wasn’t mistaken when I caught a glimpse of Sarina descending from the moon itself. Her appearance was literally glowing. She wore a white dress, and her hair was floating all over her body. “You lo
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV The path that I took was too foreign to me. It's the first time that I've stepped foot in this area where there seemed to be a lot of villagers and warriors that were scattered all throughout the place, which made it quite difficult for me to cross to the other side. I continuously asked for them to let me pass, but none of them listened to me. They were all occupied in their own worlds; they didn't care about the people that surrounded them. "Ah!" I gasped when I hit my own feet, causing me to lose balance. But before I could fall, I felt a strong grip of a hand on my arm, catching me with my eyes shut. "What are you doing in this place? It's pretty crowded here compared to any of the places you've been to." A familiar voice of a man expressed his concern for me as he carefully assisted me in standing straight. "Master Kristoffer?" I wasn't expecting to see anyone I knew here,
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV Each and every single one of our footsteps had no sound. I was trying my best not to place Kris in a tight spot, so I was the one who took the lead, even though I wasn't quite familiar with this place. Even so, the beta made sure that I was going in the right direction and wasn't bound to get lost. He kept on telling me which way to go; he warned me about the spots where pack guards were on patrol; and he also told me about the blind spots where it was the safest to cross. I initially thought that Kris wouldn't be this obedient. It's as if he was also hurt by the fact that his brother got someone else impregnated other than his rightful mate, and it was Kris' sole motivation as to why he made up his mind to help me with my plan. "I think we're near," I mumbled to myself, catching a glimpse of a spot where I used to hang out with Ace. I finally got to breathe comfortably, thinkin
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV Time seemed to have stopped the second that Siege pulled me around to force me to face him. I knew that the spotlight was directed towards my sister at the stage, who was still giving out her speech, but for the very first time in my life, I felt as if the entire crowd had their eyes set on me and nobody else. I could barely see his face, but I can't be mistaken that it was the alpha who was in front of me. "Why did you agree to have Stella as the Crimson Moon Pack's Luna, Siege? This wasn't included in any of our previous conversations at all. We still have to return to our world, right? You're just toying with Stella's heart, right?" I consecutively questioned him, letting my vision get blurry with all of the tears that gathered in my eyes. Siege asked me to let go of him, so I released my hold on his wrists. "You're still not ready to be on the same level as me, Celestina," he said, comparing me
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV The utter disappointment that I quickly felt as soon as Siege tried to defend Stella from me while she wasn't around made me realize how lowly the alpha thought of me. There wasn't anything else running through his mind other than letting my sister have a peaceful life, as she was expected to give birth to his pups. And when she's done giving birth, it will be up to the alpha to decide if he will discard Stella or let her stay as long as she desires. Who knows? The alpha might learn how to completely fall in love with the sister of his real and fated mate. I faked a smile as I made my way to the exit of the pack house. I had no other business with them. My motive was to disrupt the Luna ceremony and let Stella feel humiliated in front of a huge crowd, and all of that got blown together with the wind after Siege's last message. "I wonder where the beta is," I whispered to myself
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV The two of us didn't waste a single minute. Lucas told me to hurry up and catch up to his speed, as he had his limbs enhanced to make full use of his agility. We didn't really have a proper discussion about what we should do after we arrived at the Crimson Moon Pack. We only wanted to make Siege and the rest of them feel intimidated by our presence. Lucas said that I shouldn't falter when I'm about to announce the declaration of war if either Siege or Stella still refuse to take the Luna ceremony down. I informed him about the path I took with Kris, and it was supposed to be the only peaceful way for us to cross to the other side, but I was mistaken. "There are guards all over the gates, Celestina. I didn't think that the security would be that tight. Siege never cared about that before," Lucas mumbled as he stopped his tracks to observe the pack house from afar.
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV It has been quite a long time since I last saw Ace, and I think that was the main reason why the way he spoke sounded much more mature than before. Ace ordered the rest of the pack warriors and guards to back off, and all of them made way for Ace to walk in front of our spot. "I still have a faint remembrance of what we used to share, so please leave while I'm still being nice, Celestina. I'm not the same person as you know," Ace said with a serious expression written on his face. Regardless of what he said, I refused to believe him. It's not like there's a chance that his memories were partially erased, but judging from the way he acted, he's making the impossible possible. "There's no room for retreat now that I'm here, Ace. Certain scenarios led me here, and I doubt that you know about them. I'd appreciate it if you could let us pass," I replied, now showing an ounce of emoti
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV There was nothing else left for Ace, Lucas, and I to discuss after the alpha himself declared that we were surrendering for now. Even in Ace's wolf form, he was still considerate enough to let us take our path away from the Crimson Moon Pack without having someone ambushing us. Lucas was walking at a slow pace, but he was still the one who took the lead. I bet that he's ashamed to face me right now, especially not with his injured body, and for retreating like he had no other trait besides cowardice. "We're going back to Leo? Wouldn't he be enraged if he saw you alive and realized that I fooled him into believing that you were really dead?" I asked out of anxiety, troubled that the beta would be far worse dealing with than Ace. The alpha shrugged his shoulders, along with a shake of his head. "I can't tell. Leo is unpredictable, and the way he thinks is kind of psychotic, if you
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVI should've believed my guts from the start. And if I did, then Ice wouldn't have had to act as a sacrifice for us to survive and win against the Moon Goddess. I never imagined that he could've been this risky, since I knew him as the type of person who values his own life more than anyone else's."Ice!" I yelled out his name, trying to reach out to him, but he was already too far away from me. "Damn it, Ace! Did the two of you plan this beforehand? Was this why you prevented him from telling me whatever it was?" I questioned him out of frustration, even though I already knew the answer to it.Ace couldn't bear to look me in the eye because of the guilt that was surging in his mind. "I'm sorry. This was the only way for us to live and get through this, Celestina. I already asked him a lot of times to think this over, but Ice insisted that he should be the sacrifice if it comes down to it," he explained. He kept on playing with his fingers while his head was b
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVI screamed to stop the Moon Goddess from erasing the portal's existence. I've been desperately waiting for it to show itself for years, and now that I finally have the chance to get back to my world, I won't let Sarina ruin my dream."Don't do it, Celestina. Do you know what will happen to you if you kill Sarina?" Siege questioned me. His voice was still filled with authority, but there was also a hint of concern in it. "You're going to end up with the same fate as her; you'll die the very second that she dies. That's why there still wasn't anyone who dared to take her life, since it's the same as killing themselves," he explained.Sarina chuckled upon hearing the alpha's explanation. "If you don't want her to take my life, would you do the honor of killing me?" she asked out of pure curiosity.I glanced at Siege, waiting for what his response would be, but his mouth remained shut for minutes. That silence was enough for me to confirm that he's not prepared t
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVAt first glance, I didn't think that Sarina would descend at this kind of time when a lot of people were still awake. And as expected, all of those around us had their eyes focused on the Moon Goddess. They probably haven't seen them from such a close distance before, which wasn't the case for me.I sensed Stella holding my fingertips, and even if it was just that, I could still feel how strongly she was shaking. It might have been because of the dominant presence of Sarina, or maybe she was just afraid that she might get punished for desiring to take my spot."I came here in case you forgot about the portal, Celestina Villarama." Sarina broke the silence between us, and my eyes widened, realizing that I only thought of the upcoming judgment day and not the next summons of the portal. "In less than a few minutes, the portal is going to show itself in the place where you saw it together with them," she added. The Moon Goddess didn't bother to take a few steps
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVThe woman that all of us didn't want to see this duel barged into the beta's room, and right when I thought that she would yell and demand that they stop, she chose to stand by with such a brazen expression on her face. "Stella," I whispered my sister's name, and she didn't even bother to glance at me—not until she was finally taken aback and her consciousness seemed to have returned to reality."Celestina, what's happening here?" Stella asked me, slowly approaching me as she looked twice at the Wongs siblings, who were still rumbling on one another. "Why are they fighting in their wolf forms? I know that they're supposed to have their regular training sessions, but they never shifted before because of training," she added. The way that Stella sounded genuinely curious about the scenario she stepped into made me feel like she hated to see them in a duel too."If I tell you that I'm the reason why they're having a duel right now, will you believe and forgive m
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVThe way that Kris never spoke right after he saw the mark on his brother's neck made me feel a little bit guilty. I know that I shouldn't be feeling this way since he's not really my mate to begin with, but the way that I got his hopes up that I'd be choosing him and sticking together with him in his new pack that he planned to build was just disappointing.I nudged Siege's arm with my elbow as we were heading inside the Crimson Moon Pack's mansion. He was beside me, and Kris was the one taking the lead."What's wrong with Kris?" I asked, my voice almost coming out like a whisper. "I haven't seen him get this furious before," I added, referring to how Kris wasn't talking to us at all.Siege shrugged his shoulders, pouting. "He's probably hurt that you've got your eyes on me now, unlike before, when he still stood a chance against me," he answered, feeling proud of himself that he was finally able to claim me from his brother. We crossed through the lobby, hea
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVFor the entire night yesterday, I wasn't able to sleep, not even for a minute or two. We had to rest at the same place where Siege killed the Silver Moon Pack's alpha and beta, so it was absolutely uncomfortable for me. Their scent was infuriating to my nose, and it just kept getting stinkier every minute that passed by.Siege wanted to dispose of their bodies in a way that no one would be able to find their corpses, but he had no idea how to do so.I suggested setting their bodies on fire, but it would still gather the pack members' attention, so he made up his mind that he would just make an official announcement that he killed the both of them and that they were the first ones to challenge him to a duel.As their rules were originally set, once someone challenged the other party into a duel, either one of the two had to die, no matter who it was. And now that Siege has done it, he will definitely be the strongest wolf in the whole Dark Valley."Are you goi
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVThe aura that emitted from Siege was bursting with intense bloodlust, even though he was still not shifted to his wolf form. In each step that he made towards Lucas and Leo, he was glowing in a mixture of a dark and crimson aura."Give me Celestina's pendant back, Leo. I'll give you three seconds to hand it to me," Siege seriously mumbled. He wasn't even looking at any of them, and despite watching them from behind, I can see how Siege was only glancing at his feet."Oh, is this what you're after?" Leo showed him the pendant, waving it in front of his face to force Siege to look at it.The beta of the Silver Moon Pack attempted to break the pendant, but he was unsuccessful in every attempt he made. I couldn't help but smirk upon witnessing how much he humiliated himself in front of Siege because of that failure.I guess Sarina was still on my side after all."You thought that you were being protected by the Moon Goddess?" Siege scoffed, finally raising his he
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVEven after all of those provocations that I gave Leo, I still have no concrete plan on how I can possibly take someone as strong as him down. However, despite the difference in our strengths, I still have the will to fight back because of the moral support that I'm getting from Siege. And besides, he's also in a bind because of Lucas.I never imagined that these two would actually team up and yearn to defeat us, since all along, I seriously believed that Lucas wasn't on good terms with Leo. And it's now making me wonder if Ice was also on the same side as his alpha and beta, or if he had a different mindset than the two."When are you going to stop this farce? I'm getting exhausted from all of these; I just want to live a peaceful life; can't you at least grant me that?" I asked, which was followed by a loud sigh. "I don't deserve to experience all these, do I? I mean, I wasn't even born here; what right do you have to make me suffer like this?" I added to ma
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVIt's not that I have no other choice left. Deep down, I was really waiting for the time that Siege would end up breaking in between my pledge with Kris, and that was the main reason why I paused and hesitated before.I nodded my head. "You should also promise the same thing. I don't care anymore if you've really gotten Stella pregnant; just get her out of the Crimson Moon Pack. I want to be your Luna, and I can't bear seeing my sister taking my spot," I said, which came out of my mouth instead of letting it be said through our mind-link.Siege placed his hand above my head, slowly ruffling my hair, saying that I was beautiful. It was the first time for me to hear him call me beautiful now that I'm a grownup. I know that Siege endlessly called me pretty when we were kids, but I never took it seriously since we were still young back then.He moved away from me, telling me to stand still at the corner and let him handle things with Lucas and Leo. I kept on remin
