CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POV I never imagined that I would go back to the Silver Moon Pack as early as now. Siege told his brother to accompany me on the way there, since he doesn't trust Stella fully. And as soon as we arrived at the entrance of the mansion, Master Kristoffer bowed his head to bid us farewell. "You're such a fool," Stella whispered, and I just ignored her, knowing that I had no other choice but to proceed in the mansion. Lucas probably detected my presence from the moment that we stepped foot in the lobby, and I was anticipating that he would be the first one that I'd see here, but he was nowhere in sight. I wanted to ask Stella, but she had already left me all by myself. "You're back." Ice approached me with a confused expression on his face. "As much as I want to question your sudden return, I want to thank you for going back today. Lucas is waiting for you in his room," he informed me.
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVThe way that Alpha Lucas cared so dearly about me, as if he didn't used to be so mad about my first appearance here when Ice brought me, made me wonder why he wanted to regard me as someone he must treasure for his entire life. In such a fragile body as his, I knew that I was supposed to be the one to take care of him and hold myself responsible for his health."If you don't want to let Leo lead the Silver Moon Pack in the meantime, then would you rather let me be the one to step in?" I uttered my second suggestion. "Though I'm not sure if I can do a great job like you," I shyly added.Lucas bit his lower lip as he glanced back at me. "You don't know much about packs, Celestina. People would just ridicule you for leading the pack, and no one would trust their lives to an omega," he refused for the second time.Seeing that there's no other choice left, I frowned. "If that's the case, then I should just force Leo to be the one to lead. You can't stop me either
CELESTINA VILLARAMA'S POVBeta Leonardo's smirk still lingers in my mind. It wasn't the kind of smirk that can make me feel like he's secretly mocking me. It was rather like he was amused to witness the tears that streamed down my face. Ice brought me back to the pack house, and we still haven't uttered a single word since we came out of the beta's house.I crossed my legs as I was sitting on the couch in the lobby, just near everyone who was going in and out of the mansion. Afraid of what the outcome would be, I kept on biting my fingernails."Do you think that Leo will be a great leader of the Silver Moon Pack if ever his condition is to become the alpha?" I blurted out a random question that popped in my head. It was supposed to be for myself only, but I was also intrigued to hear other people's opinions about it.Ice frowned with a look of disapproval. "No one among us can replace our current alpha, no matter what happens,Celestina. I won't give up on Lucas, and I will never side
CELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV I didn’t even have the chance to think twice about the words that came out of my mouth. I was too hyped up by the provocation that Leonardo was giving me. I shouldn’t have said those if I knew that he was just trying to threaten me. Although I realized it too late, I know that I have to take responsibility for it. The beta’s smirk faded upon noticing that I wasn’t joking around. “You’re willing to sacrifice your life just for a mere Delta?” Leonardo asked, clenching his fists that were holding his utensils. “Why won’t you do the same for me? Is it that difficult for you to kill the current alpha and let someone like me lead the pack? You don’t look like you’re brainless. Can’t you understand Lucas’ situation? He’s literally having difficulties dealing with his health and the pack itself,” he consecutively questioned me, as if he knew that I would pity the alpha. I bit my lower lip when an idea popp
CELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV The midnight breeze has begun to give me chills down my spine. Everything was supposed to go according to what I planned, but it seems like fate doesn’t really want me to do anything that can make me reputable. I kept on glancing around the hallway, and I’m currently in front of the alpha’s door after what I discussed with Leo. The beta doesn’t have any plans to let Ice go, not unless I bring Lucas’ head on my hand as I go back to the dining hall where the three of them were still gathered. I don’t quite understand why he had to go that far, especially with the fact that he didn’t even think twice about letting me kill their alpha. As far as I know, there’s no one that should be permitted to annihilate the alpha within one’s pack, except if there were rebels that hid amongst the crowd. And maybe, Leo was one of the rebels in the Silver Moon Pack. “Lucas? Are you inside?” I asked
CELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV About half an hour later, since I used up the poison that Leo gave me, I was now strolling along the hallways of the mansion. All of the people’s eyesight was fixated on me. I didn’t wonder why. Their eyes were obviously containing a mix of emotions that ranged from intense fear to hatred. They feared that I would take the life of their beloved alpha and behead him. And hatred for letting me reside within their pack, thinking that I was absolutely pure and innocent. I couldn’t hide my laughter anymore. I stopped in the middle, directly in front of the staircase. I was still gripping on the strands of Lucas’ hair, which I utilized to hold his head. His blood was dripping from the bottom, where his neck was slashed off. “What are you all gawking at? Is this the first time that you’ve seen someone’s head get slashed off their bodies?” I asked like a maniac on a killing spree at the same time that I gl
CELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV Even though I already had a few hours of rest since the incident yesterday, I was still feeling quite helpless. Ice remained with Leo, and they were never out of either one’s vision, even if they had to go to the bathroom. I understand that they have to watch out for one another’s back, but Leo was going a bit too far; he’s going to traumatize Ice at this point if he still doesn’t stop. My mind was still going through so much, and I don’t think that seeing either of them would help me at all. “Lady Villarama? The beta wants to see you downstairs,” said one of the butlers that was scattered along the wide space of the mansion. “He told me to let you hurry; it’s an urgent matter,” he added before he bowed his head with his hands above the others. I hissed after I thanked him and took my leave. I wanted to try and avoid Leo for the entire day to see how it would change his personal
CELESTINA VILLARAMA’S POV The beta had already left an hour ago, and yet I’m still here in the same pond where I was hoping to reach out to the moon goddess. My heart hasn’t stopped racing ever since I heard about Stella bearing the child of Siege. I know that there’s still a chance that babies or pups won’t be formed since they recently did it. So as early as now, I have to find a way to prevent Stella from getting herself pregnant, no matter how many times she tries to have sex with the alpha of the Crimson Moon Pack. I didn’t give up calling out to Sarina. She will definitely get tired of hearing my voice sooner or later, which is why I’m positive that she will show herself in less than a few minutes. And I wasn’t mistaken when I caught a glimpse of Sarina descending from the moon itself. Her appearance was literally glowing. She wore a white dress, and her hair was floating all over her body. “You lo
