Chapter 283

Ember waved the paper to Caleb and asked, "What's this?"

Caleb was confused. "Huh? Is it in my pocket?"

Ember nodded.

That paper was folded twice into a square, so it was not garbage.

She strode to a streetlight, slowly opened the paper, and saw a hotel room number alongside a scribbled note. "Mr. Lane, I'll be waiting for you tonight. We'll have so much fun together."

Ember was alarmed.

Someone was trying to seduce Caleb!

Caleb caught up and glanced at the paper.

Ember angrily balled up the paper before Caleb could read it. She then looked at Caleb and asked, "Did you meet someone in the washroom?"

Caleb was stunned and quickly figured it out.

His expression became horrifying.

Susan!

Caleb put his hands on her shoulders and explained, "I'm sorry. I didn't know about the paper and so as its content. I met Susan on my way back from the washroom."

Susan's name made Ember unpleased.

She glared at Caleb angrily, threw the paper to him, and strode forward without saying a word
