"Mr. Lane, what a coincidence."

Caleb stared at Susan coldly.

He raised his chin condescendingly and said coldly, "Yeah, there's not many restaurants here. We could meet anyone."

Caleb was disgusted by Susan's tone.

He intended to leave, but Susan grabbed his wrist and stopped him. She looked at Caleb with a pitiful and innocent look.

"Mr. Lane, I admire you, but that's all. I won't do anything. I hope Dr. Sanders doesn't misunderstand my intentions."

Susan said it deliberately to express her feelings for Caleb while provoking his relationship with Ember.

Caleb felt offended by her touch.

He suddenly raised his hand, pushed Susan away, and warned coldly, "Ms. Baker, don't touch me. Your feelings have nothing to do with me. I know what you're up to."

Caleb strode away without looking at her again.

Susan stood there. Her smile faded as she looked at Caleb.

Ember was ready to leave when Caleb returned.

She asked, "What took you so long?"
