Laura seemed to lose all sense of time. Everything was barely making sense anymore. She tried hard not to panic, but it was hard not to when she was in the hands of a serial killer who claimed that she was his bride. She wasn’t sure anything could be worse than that.

Laura sighed as she pulled her legs close to her chin. She had barely slept because of fear, and she was starting to feel paranoid. It felt like she was seeing strange objects half the time, and that scared her to her bone marrow. Nothing was worst than what was presently happening to her. She was definitely sure about that.

She wondered if Marcus was looking for her, or he was in the arms of his new woman. ‘No, I won’t think about that.’ She admonished herself.

She was going to think about how he was going to get her from this place. She wasn’t going to die here, and she was going to escape the awful cage she found herself.
