It was all a mess.

Marcus had never felt so lost in his whole life like he did at that moment. He couldn’t breathe well, and worse, he felt her pain and sadness all at once. He always knew when he was feeling her. It was all in the abstract like it was not a part of him, yet it was painfully a part of existence.

The last feeling had been so severe making him believe that she was in danger. It was so chilling that his toes almost curled at the emotion threatened to get the better off him.

“Marcus, where are you?” He could hear his brother call him.

He had no idea which of them was craving his attention. All he knew was that he needed to get to her;. He needed to be with her at that moment. He had to do that for them.

His wolf was also prancing around in his soul, trying to shift and go to their mate. Marcus tried to see so many reasons he shouldn’t step out, but none of them was able to calm him down.
