Marcus drove through the windy road. He stopped at some points to make sure that there were no hidden enemies around, and hoping he would be able to catch a glimpse of Laura.

He didn’t.

He finally arrived at the venue, and parked his car in the midst of some banana trees. He locked his car tightly, and walked a good distance into the woods.

He say some camps held up as the members of the pack went about their duties. He looked around with a frown. They were obviously for a territory to stay, but their Alpha was beyond rude while at it.

“Alpha Marcus,” someone said behind him.

He turned to see a boy who was obviously about to creep out of his puberty looking right at him. There was something about the boy that made him feel they’ve met earlier.

“Eh… who are you?” Marcus queried.

“Klaus,” he stated simply, and went back to staring at Marcus.

Marcus shifted uneasily on his feet. Klaus was so weird and the vibe he was going was definitely not very impressive. He didn’t want to fight anyon
