Outlaw Force Arc: A New Case

The world has evolved so much in the 21st century and people are being so advanced at everything. Even they can able to bring back extinct animals such as Dodo and Shindorimi Tigers. And also because of this advancement, even the death rate of humans was low. Still, there are people who die from some unknown disease or accident or even by loss of blood from their body because of vampires.

   Around the busy places in Tokyo, some people died in dark places of losing blood and their bodies were weak. It was a rainy day and just like always a commoner found the dead body around his workplace and soon called the police. After the officer's arrival, the head chief gets to the scene and looks at the dead person’s body. “Who is it? Just like others we can figure out who is this and whether it is male or female”.

   And his junior answers him, “Chief, the forensic people got the sample and went to the lab. Soon we will get the result and also the procedures were taking faster than before so we won't make a fuss around the people and here is the report was given from that man who found the body”. After he said it, the chief turned around and saw the man who found the body. That person was sitting at his store’s entrance and placing his hands on his head and shivering so bad.

   While the chief watches him, the junior tells him, “He just lost every bit of strength just by witnessing this, I don't hope he will answer us anymore. Also the sooner he called us here is really good, otherwise more people would see it and start to suffer just like this man”. While the junior tells him, the chief just keeps on looking at him and takes his cigarette out of his right pocket.

   At that time the reporters started to cloud around that place trying to get photos of the dead body and asking so many questions to the chief but he was just smoking without answering anything. While these things were happening around that place, a young girl walked to the opposite pathway and looked at the scene. She was just being so curious about why there were so many people surrounded and police were answering the reporters.

   I don't know what is happening right here in this city but I hope nothing happens to my mother. I have to keep her safe and also I need to live with my mother just like in the past. Elle Mona is a college student who just works part-time at a cafeteria and looks after her mother, the only family member she has with her, and l looking after her.

   She gets into the hospital where her mother is being treated for her disease. Elle’s mother was affected by a rare disease, which kills a person’s life slowly, and still, doctors were trying to find a cure for it. Elle gets inside the hospital and stands in front of her mother’s room. I don't know how to face my mother, even though she knows that there is no hope for her to live with me but she still tries to smile in front of me.

   Elle opens the door with a big smile and shouts just like she does in front of her. “Mother… I came to see you and how are you?” After hearing her voice, Elle’s mother turns around her face and sees Elle and smiles at her. Elle’s mother is being so weak and even the bones are too visible with skin. “I am fine, baby. And what about you? Are the classes good and how about the job?”

   While she was asking questions to her, Elle just ordered the medicines she bought for her mother. “Mom, I am really doing good at class and also at the job. There is nothing to worry about me”. While talking, Elle prepares food for her mother and places it on her lap. “Mother, now eat this food slowly. I prepared it as liquid so that it won't cause any harm to your stomach and if you still feel pain then inform me immediately.

   After she said it, Elle’s mother looks at her and smiles so happily then tells her, “You are treating me like a child. It was like just a few years that you were in my hands as a baby and I was taking care of you. Time really goes fast and things really change”. Then Elle tells her mother, “Yeah… I too wanted to be in that time and enjoy more time with you but we can’t mother. Then soon she realized that she said something she wouldn’t . “Aww… Mother, I really wanted to tell you that if I get back in time, I would take care of you even more and we both enjoy more time together. And also don't worry after you get cured of this disease soon we'll be together.”

   Then Elle’s mother just looks at the sky and tells her daughter, “I know my condition but still I want to live, Elle. Not just because I am afraid of dying, I just want to see how my daughter lives in this world, and also watching your smile and laugh every day is the real reason I am holding on to my life. If that’s the very reason it becomes a burden to you then I would end my life the next minute”.

   When she said it, Elle was angered at that moment and shouted at her mother. “Mom… Don't ever talk to me in that way, what kind of daughter would think their mother is a problem. I took this responsibility and I am happy about it. Struggling to cure you is not a big problem or making me trouble. You are more important to me than my happy mother, so please don't talk about dying. If I can get a cure for your disease, I won't hesitate to kill the god”. After saying it, Elle started to clean the place around the room and pack her bag.

   “Are you getting back soon?” Elle’s mother asked her with a little sadness on her face. Then Elle tells her, “Mother, you want me to be with you? I too want to but the rules in this hospital are really strict”. After that, Elle tells her bye to her mother and starts to move from there. Then she went to the college to attend the classes just like always and after finishing the classes she got to her job at the cafeteria.

   And while she was working there, the police and his junior were there and discussing the morning incident. “Chief, we know that vampires are really giving us a big problem but still why do we have to keep this news from the people. If we release the evidence of a vampire to the public then they would be more careful than before, wouldn't they?” And after drinking a little coffee, the chief calls for the waiter and orders another glass of coffee from him.

   “Young Lady… Come here, I need you to refill my cup” Chief said to Elle and started to talk with his junior. “Kid, one thing is you need to understand, that not everything will go as planned because reality and appearance have one thing in common, can you tell me the answer?” While the chief asked the question, Elle just filled the cup and the junior replied, “I don't know, is it true or hidden like something, if not I think something related to it” soon the chief turned towards Elle and said, “Then can you answer that question?”

   When the chief asked, Elle was shocked and said, “Sorry sir, I didn't listen to your conversation with him” Then with a laugh Chief replied, “It’s ok I will tell you the question which I asked him before and then answer to me, even you can take your own time” After saying it, the chief asked the same question to Elle and looking at her for the answer.

   After some seconds, without any doubt about the answer, Elle replied to him, “It’s deceptive.” When she said it, the Chief was surprised and said, “You’re correct young girl, I am going to tip you more.” Then with thanks, Elle goes from there and gets into the staff room. And then the chief and junior continue their conversation. “See, just as her answer, reality, and appearance have a common thing and it is both deceptive. We have to be careful in this “Vampire case” and that’s why the government secretly built this organization inside the police and sent us to investigate them and kill them.

   “I can understand what you are trying to tell me, chief but still I can’t able to take that one question from my mind”. After the junior said it, the chief pays the bill and takes him out of the cafeteria. “Right, let's play a small game and let you know how the hell these so-called innocents mind working”. While he was saying it, the junior just looked at the chief and was confused by his words.

   After then they both started to walk around the city and investigate the vampire attack. At that time, they met a small group of young teenagers who were sitting at the park entrance. Then the chief dragged his junior and got near to them and started to ask some questions. “Huh… Hello boys, I need some help from you all. Can you guys answer some questions of mine?” And the boys were suddenly scared because of their arrival out of nowhere. One of them asked the chief, “Who are you? After you tell us that then let us think about answering your question”.

   After he said it, the Chief took his identity card from his pocket and showed it to him. “I am the chief at the department and I think now your doubt was cleared. So can you guys answer my questions, right now?” After seeing his card some of them were feared at that moment but that one person is really being brave and kept the conversation with him. “I think your guys are always here and enjoying your teen times, I hope. Let me ask the question, have you or anyone seen some strange things around this area?”

   While he asked the question, everyone just looked at each other and didn't know how to answer that question. Then the chief started to make clear to them, “Huh… I think you can’t understand the question thoroughly so let me rephrase it. Did you guys see some weird things like people disappearing from the place suddenly or talking about ghosts or blah blah blah…”

   After he said it, they were thinking for some minutes and one of the boys said that his mother was talking about an old greenhouse which had been destroyed by some accident and was being possessed by ghosts and that’s why we all are planning to go there…” As soon as he started to talk about their plan, one of his friends beat his hand and the boy stopped talking about it and finished the sentence by telling. “I think that’s what my mother talked about with her neighbors”.

   Then the chief tells them, “Don't worry, the reason I asked is that a female serial killer is on the loose and I think that’s where she is hiding alone. Now that we have the lead, we both get back to the department and plan about capturing here tomorrow”. After saying it, the chief and his junior were moved out from there, and the boys started to talk about the place and planned to cancel their tonight’s plan.

   And at the cafeteria, Elle finishes her work and changes her dress to get soon to the hospital and meet her mother before going home. “Avnika, can you take notes for tomorrow's class” Elle tells her classmate, and also she works with her in the same cafeteria. Even though they are still together they are still not friends. “Yeah… I can but can I ask what’s the reason?” Avnika asks the question out of curiosity.

   When she asked the question to her all of a sudden, Elle was really surprised and was quiet for a few seconds and replied, “Huh… I am going to be with my mother. She is unwell just by being on the bed alone every day so I always take one day leave and be with her”, After she said it, Avnika replies, “Ok, I can understand” Then she started to move from that place and Elle just being there for some seconds and thinks that she let some of her feelings out with her even though Avnika, not her friend.

   Then she got her bag and started to move towards the hospital fast. And at that time, she dashed a boy who was just walking fast on the pathway. “I am sorry, I am in a rush, please don't mind” After saying it, Elle rushes to the hospital and the boy looks at her for a few seconds and then continues to walk towards his way.
