Xander's pov(year 1653)
"Xander! Please. Have pity." She pleaded miserably at my feet.
Disgusting. I thought and scowled. Can't believe I ever trusted her.
"It's My Lord to you" I gritted out forcefully and angrily punched the wall just above her head.
Hearing the punch, she cringed and tears started falling down her dirty, bloodied cheek. She was in a horrible condition, with the rags she wore barely covering her body. She was a bloody mess with hair all over the place. Her hands were in shackles connected to a long iron chain above which was attached to the roof of the dungeon she was lying in.
Her pitiful state did nothing to me.
Seeing her lying in her own filth, crying in pain and on the brink of death brought a little bit of satisfaction to my empty heart.
She meant nothing to me now though she used to mean everything.
I kicked her in the abdomen forcefully and scrunched my face in annoying when I saw some of her blood was on my shoe. She doubled over in pain and continued crying on the muddied floor.
"Stop being pathetic. It's time for me to let you go now. Pity really, no one will miss you. Do not even hope, I'll make sure Alexia never remembers who you are" I said bitterly.
Before she could react, I moved with my supernatural speed sinking my fangs into her neck, drinking out all her remaining blood along with the rest of her essence till she slumped on the floor.....dead.
Retracting my fangs, I removed an immaculate hankerchief from my black waistcoat and wiped off the remains of her blood from my lips.
Discarding off the bloodied hankerchief, I swung around and left the dungeon.
Crossing the threshold of her cell, I turned my head and looked one last time at the pitiful mess that was my mother.
Seeing her lying there just made me so angry but I resorted in fisting my hands and leaving the stinking dungeon of the Rage mansion.
I was Alexander Rage and I just killed my mother.
Passing out, I saw my Butler, who wasn't really a butler but as of that moment, everyone had to believe he was one for my future plans to work rushing over to me.
He hurried over to my side while I kept striding purposefully in anger.
"Sir....sir" he said while trying to keep up with my pace but at the same time keeping an agreeable distance between us.
"What do you want Anconeus?" I gritted out forcefully. I was in a horrible mood and the little bugger was annoying me with his stupid calling.
"Sir...S..Sir" he stuttered.
I suddenly stopped making him to stumble before steadying himself, I turned slowly looking at him at my side. By this time,I was seeing red. I was so angry I could feel my body shaking.
Seeing my state, Anconeus started trembling and shaking in front of me and all of a sudden, the pungent stench of urine stung my nostrils mixed with the annoying stench of his fear. I scrunched my nose in disgust.
"Speak up slave!" If I didn't still require his services I would have already fed him to Azrah with his pathetic commoner blood served to me on a silver platter. And while I was drinking his blood, I would destroy everything he held dear. I was sadistic that way.
Azrah was my vampire wolf pet. I had gotten her as a gift from my mother when I was 100 years old as a prize for my first massacre. Azrah was an absolute beast to everyone but me and she did everything on my command. She was trained to eat only vampire flesh. She had a growl so ferocious and she was always so hungry and insatiable that it was seen as punishment in the Rage mansion to feed her. You never knew whether you'll come back alive or not. The way she tore off flesh was similar to mine when I was killing off an annoying pest and that made me so proud. She was my pride and joy.
"Mi...Milord, I'm so sorry to disturb you but I arrived to inform you of the arrival of Lady Luna." Lady Luna was a member of one of the original vampire families.
There were seven original vampire families; the Rages, the Lirahs( Lady Luna's house), the Stones, the Rowlons, the Fayas, the Brinds and the Elns.
The original vampire families were the first vampire families ever created and to walk the earth. The rest of the vampires were either turned by members of these families or born by the turned.
The seven original families could feed on other vampires and they had looks unmatched by any other. A representative from each of these families formed a council that managed and run the daily affairs of Nyrvaria.
Though Luna was a member of a noble and pure vampire family, she acted more like a slut than a noble. Always whining and willing to please. I used her for my sexual desires and she was always ready at my Beck and call and she did everything I wanted. Everything.
I had no care in my heart for the tramp but she was useful in times like these when I was so enraged that I needed a release.
"Send her to my Chambers and I hope all my equipment are there." I believe in painful sexual intercourse. Well, painful for the tramps that scrambled to lay in my bed. They wanted a taste of nobility, well this was it.
"I'll be up in a while" I finished.
"Yes My Lord" Anconeus said while still shaking.
"Where's Alexia?" I demanded.
"Your sister is sleeping peacefully in her crib Milord. She just had a bath and her supper." Alexia was the last direct family I had. As crazy as I was, Alexia was my world. Nothing could come between her and her happiness. With me at her side, she wouldn't feel the need for that traitor who called herself our mother.
We were orphans now and all we had was each other. The rest of the Rage family wasn't as close as we should.
"Fine. I'll pass by her room before retiring to mine."
"Do you need the servants to bring up some fresh blood for you Milord?"
"No. Luna will give me what I need."
Saying that,I left him there and strode past the garden into the house where the few servants that were around scurried off before I could notice them.
Pesky little creatures. I thought bitterly. They only ever get in my way.
I passed by Alexia's room and stood over her crib watching my one year old sister sleeping softly. My features softened when I saw her and a little bit of the ice in my heart thawed.
I pushed her dark curly hair behind her ear and gently stroked her cold cheek. She was already becoming more of a vampire with each passing day.
"Sleep tight Princess" I whispered and kissed her forehead.
At that, I left the room softly closing the door behind me. Then my face hardened. She won't ever feel the pain I feel inside.
I made my way to my chambers which was separated from Alexia's by my office, which along with my personal library and a guest room, were the only rooms on that floor.
Seeing Luna spread already sexily on my bed in a red nightie that left nothing to the imagination, nibbling on her red painted lips, I first ignored her, took off my jacket, my cufflinks and unbuttoned my shirt.
I felt her cold hands wrap themselves around my torso with her long red painted nails digging themselves into my soft flesh. What was with the red?
I turned around with nothing but pure anger in my face.
"Undress now" I shouted in her face.
"Sure thing baby" she purred and obliged.
That night, I released all the anger, pain, and sadness I felt into her willing body.
Good thing I was the only one on that floor.
Elle's pov(year 1753)"Good morning father" I greeted my father while getting into his room as the cock had crowed a few minutes ago and it was time for his medicines.
Xander's pov (year1753)
Elle's pov"Good morning Leatisia" I greeted as I got into the fairly sized space I called my clinic. I owned it and worked there. I said I worked there but as the village doctor,I found myself serving people more often outside or in their homes than in the clinic. The villagers were still getting used to the idea of having a particular place where you always have to go to get treated rather
Xander's pov"Ben! Leave the servants. They are beneath us" I said while scowling at him and coming around the couch he was lying on.The serva
Elle's povA few patients had been coming in... surely to see how a clinic works and get treated. I used herbs that I grew and plants from the forest surrounding my house to treat them. I used a little magic too but no one had to know that. People didn't have to know of my warlock heritage. To them, I'll just be the vampire doctor who treated them and who lived with her dying father and frien
Xander's povThe carriage boy started the horses and we left the Rage mansion through the pathway in the forest that surrounded the house.Thro
Xander's povMaking my way out of the house, the cool crisp air hit my face. I had spent a huge portion of my normal life here but I would never regard it as home. I had forgotten what a home felt like.
Xander's pov"....your sister has been poisoned" he let out in a breath.WHATTTT!!!
Xander's pov, year, 1753Hectic. Life was hectic. That was as best as I could describe the past weeks and my life in general. My Elle. I had al
Xander's povMy heart was racing, my pulse was throbbing, my hands were clammy, a few beads of sweat decorated my forehead and the mixture of fear and anger coursing through my veins made me nauseous.
Xander's povThe last month with Elle had been the best of my life. Being bonded; soul bonded with her was the most incredible feeling in the world. I could feel what she felt and she could feel mine. I could listen to her thoughts and she could listen to mine. We were one. Truly one.
Xander's pov"Oh Xander!!" Elle exclaimed and threw herself at me, encasing me in a very warm and very comfortable hug taking me by surprise.O
Xander's povThis morning had been intense. I was so not expecting Elle to react that way. The funny part is I don't even know what I had done wrong. I did not think of her as weak. At all. She was actually much stronger than the rest of us. Or maybe, in a way, her strength was her weakness.
Elle's povI walked through one of the secret pathways in Xander's estate greatly missing him as he was away on council business. I prayed he was safe and his plans were successful.
Xander's povThe tension in the room completely shifted and focused on our one uninvited guest. The difference this time was he couldn't be killed and his body discarded like the silly human of earlier in the day.
Xander's povThe whole room erupted in rowdy disagreements and sides were taken as sides argued against other sides. Ben and I sat amidst the chaos and observed. Silence in such a situation was the best response.
Xander's pov"All rise" the court herald boomed in a loud timbre and we all stood solemnly. Almost immediately, the members of the council strode in majestically with airs of confidence, pride and aged wisdom. The acted like they owned the place. Well, technically they did but still...
