After we made all the calls and arrangements, I sat in the alpha's office and went through the advertisement again. I was angry at the private joke attached to it. Our wolves were living underground not because we wanted to deprive them of sunlight but protect them from war. A war the humans had brought upon us. As much as I was a peace-loving guy, I wondered how the humans would fare if we descended on them and they had to go underground to their bomb shelters? The joke would not be funny anymore, I suppose.

"Marcus," I said to my best friend. He was looking at his computer. I knew he was planning something safe. Trust him to be meticulous about saving lives.

"Yes," He said, looking up at me, and I sat up on the couch. The Alpha office was built for one Alpha, and Marcus was occupying the seat, leaving me to use the couch. We might have to add another desk to equalise.

"I am really pissed off about that private joke," I confessed, "I say we fuck peace and rain down on them.
