Gwen finally came to the office, and Marcus and I were eager to find out what was going on.

"What took you so long?" I asked and kissed her. She returned the kiss and touched my arm with her palms. Her scent filled my senses, and I pulled her to my body.

"How did it go with the doctor?" Marcus asked her which was why I was asking in the first place, and she pulled away from me and smiled at him.

"I will soon be heading back to the hospital for more tests," She said, and Marcus and I were about to protest when she raised a small bottle of capsules.

"No cause for alarm, Isabelle just wants to run some tests to help with the medication she is developing," she said, grinning from ear to ear, but deep down I felt she was lying about something and Marcus must have felt it too because what he said following her statement proved it.

"So you do not mind us coming with you to the hospital this evening?" He asked her, and she frowned at him.

"I am not a baby, Marcus," she protested.

sorry to hear this Thea. so far no one has died. There is no magic in this story and Gwen has no super powers mentioned anywhere, she just heals faster than others and has a beautiful Alpha wolf. This is a book two following the events in book 1. Glad you read it and left your views. Thank you.

Mason. After we made all the calls and arrangements, I sat in the alpha's office and went through the advertisement again. I was angry at the private joke attached to it. Our wolves were living underground not because we wanted to deprive them of sunlight but protect them from war. A war the humans had brought upon us. As much as I was a peace-loving guy, I wondered how the humans would fare if we descended on them and they had to go underground to their bomb shelters? The joke would not be funny anymore, I suppose. "Marcus," I said to my best friend. He was looking at his computer. I knew he was planning something safe. Trust him to be meticulous about saving lives. "Yes," He said, looking up at me, and I sat up on the couch. The Alpha office was built for one Alpha, and Marcus was occupying the seat, leaving me to use the couch. We might have to add another desk to equalise. "I am really pissed off about that private joke," I confessed, "I say we fuck peace and rain down on them.

  • Unwanted   099 Why He Did It.

Marcus I could not believe how easy it was for them to get the bastard. Derin looked beaten and I had a smirk on my face. Deep down, I had hopes that our plans will work, and we will be alright. "Take him to a silver cell for now, while we prepare to question him," Delan said. This was his pack after all. It was okay for him to give the orders. "Daddy!" Gwen said and hugged her father. Delan hugged her, and kissed the top of her head. Words did not need to be spoken. He did this for her. Thanks to Derin, they had poisoned and almost ruined her life. It was a miracle that she was here with us. I went to shake him, and so did Mason. "Thank you, Alpha Mackenzie," I said, and he smiled at me. "It was fun," he said and looked at the other Alphas. The Alphas smiled back at him. "The bastard was drunk with his a bitch's mouth on his cock when we got him," Lucius said, sounding a bit disgusted. "He has no respect for women," Liam said, " I saw all the thrashing marks on her back. Th

Marcus. We sat in the living room of the Alpha's house. Mason was pacing up and down, and Gwen sat still staring at her phone, and I knew why. She was waiting for Dr Isabelle to reach out to her on the matter at hand. I had knots in my stomach. I wanted her to be alright. I wanted everything to be fine with her, but I dared not show my fear. If I did, it would affect her. This was the time for Mason and me to be strong and supportive. Showing weakness was out of the question, and I knew it. "Has Isabelle reached out?" I asked Gwen with a smile, and she looked at me and shook her head. "No. I am checking out the adverts and the forms. I can't believe the effrontery these people have to do what they are doing. The joke about the sun is beginning to get to me. They were the ones that made our territory unsafe. It is their fault that we have to hide our wolves underground, so they do not have to fight and get hurt. This is their fault, and they want to use it against us. I can't wait to

  • Unwanted   101 Finally

Gwen. I held so much in when they brought Derin. I wanted to kill him. If Marcus and Mason weren't there, I would have killed him. I felt intense rage. The man had no regard for life, and he did not care about anyone but himself. Hearing he had a harem of lovers which he treated badly made me sick. Derin teamed up with the humans against us. Turned the other Alphas against us. Made it possible for Larry to get his hands on innocent wolves for his experiments, and the guy was not even remorseful. He simply did not care. He just wanted whatever it was he wanted. As much as Derin claims he carried on for Simone, this was more about him. He sold us out completely, and he was supposed to be on our team. He pointed them in our direction. Put us in a situation where we had to defend ourselves. The video Timber sent to Mason kept playing in my head. I remembered how he gave Larry ideas, and I wanted to bash his head against the wall. The man did not deserve to live. My babies were living

  • Unwanted   102 The Making of Monsters

Mason. Things were finally falling into place. I did not know how worried I was until Gwen got that call from Isabelle. Marcus and I were literally living in the moment. We were scared. I felt his relief too, and he felt mine. It was amazing how much we both cared for our mate. I was scared that the pregnancy was part of the cause of the nose bleed. If it came down it, I was determined to let go and maybe try again in the future. Although it would break my heart, and I might never forget about it, I knew she would be okay, and we will heal from the experience together. Thank Goddess that an abortion wasn't necessary. I was eager for time to pass quickly, so I could meet our babies. As I spooned Gwen in bed, I took in her scent and rested my hand on her belly. Her bump wasn't showing yet, but her scent said it all. Her scent was mixed with mine permanently. There was Marcus's scent too, but it was faint. I glanced at Marcus as he slept peacefully on the other side of the bed with Gwe

  • Unwanted   103 Before We Grab Him

Marcus I was stunned by the list of people from my pack that signed up to join the human army. Most of the people that signed up were people on our side of the fence. Significantly few people from the outside pack signed up. It was amazing to see how ungrateful the people on our side were. The outer packs had experienced human cruelty first-hand. They were obviously on high alert. They were barely up to fifty that signed up from those packs. The rest were from my territory. It was time to go to the Eclipse pack and make some moves. Mason, Gwen and I had Luisa drive us back to the Eclipse pack. The pack members were all underground. The only people that remained above ground were the warriors and some medical practitioners. I was glad to see that Scott was doing an excellent job as beta. I knew he would be able to handle the position. He might not be as strong as Michael, but he was the next in line. "Alpha," He greeted me when we descended from the car. He also Greeted his Luna and

  • Unwanted   104 Grabbing Larry

Gwen. We had a long night and made love throughout. The three of us tangled in the sheets with me in the centre. I could never stop enjoying the love I was getting from Marcus and Mason. My mates genuinely loved me, body and soul. Marcus and Mason made love to me until I was sore. Yes, I healed quickly, but I still got sore from the constant grinding and pumping. My pussy was greedy because it kept wanting and needing more. It kept clenching and squeezing, and Mason and Marcus were ready to oblige. The room had brought back steamy memories for Marcus and me. The moment we stepped in, I remembered everything about how Marcus would tease me, how he touched me and gave me pleasure, and how I asked him to do more. We were wild. I was stubborn, and I knew he liked it. I remembered how he would carry me to the room after being naughty and punish me with pleasure. We made love till the early morning hours, and then we finally slept. I woke up in the afternoon, and Marcus and Mason were

  • Unwanted   105 Alpha Beta Discussion

Marcus. We rode in the ambulance all day long. We wanted to stop at the diner to get Gwen food because she was pregnant, but she insisted we keep going. I knew she was hungry, I could feel it, but I also understood why she did not want us to stop. Although we were in our territory, we did not trust anyone. We were being careful. We did not want any surprises. Mason was a tough guy, but the way his pack members kept disrespecting Gwen simply meant he didn't fully have their control, and I intended to talk to him about it. The hostility towards Gwen needed to stop; there is no excuse. Half of the things they did now, they wouldn't dare it when I was in charge of that territory. It wasn't very pleasant, and it took a lot of effort for me not to close the diner. The people serving and working there were ranking officers. Every civilian was underground. If these officers could disrespect their Luna this way, I wonder what they would do in battle. They are likely to work against her or, may

  • Unwanted   117 Getting To Gardenia

Gwen. We were amazed when we arrived at the airport in Gardenia. It was a beautiful view. There were video commercials and posters that had wolves on. It was as it was described; a werewolf country, or so it seemed. The people were friendly at the airport. The arrival had many free souvenirs for visitors. I felt my babies kick, and I knew this was it. The triplets were so excited it was challenging to hold on to them. Marcus and Mason were doing everything they could to stop them from running about the place. Linbec put us in a situation where we had to hide away, demarcated from the rest of the world, but this place was different. It celebrated us. I saw a video of the president welcoming visitors, and I wondered if they created a welcome video every time they had a new president or if this guy was just different. When we stepped out, Marcus wanted to look for two cabs when a government-licensed S.U.V parked in front of us. A friendly-looking guy in a suit exited the S.U.V and ca

  • Unwanted   116 As Things Are

Gwen. It did not take long for the suspects to be arraigned in court. Larry took a plea bargain and had a significantly reduced sentence. Benjamin took his own life. I knew it was because he could not deal with the shame of what he did. Honestly, I was glad he was dead. Being a former president, I doubted if his punishment would be much, and it would have been wrong to let him get away with all the heinous crimes he committed. Michael and Ingrid were trying to resolve their differences, but he had difficulty trusting her. I pleaded with him to give her a second chance because we knew she stood no chance against Larry and Benjamin. He was still angry over the fact that she did not open up to him. Michael was content with being friends and kept it that way for now. Hopefully, they would resolve their differences in the future, and he would forgive her. I knew they still loved each other very much. Hopefully, they will see it too and put the past behind them. The wedding was going to t

  • Unwanted   115 Third Time is The Charm

Mason. The new development was highly welcomed, and I could not wait for it to start. As much as I did not want to trust Barnes and Miles, I knew they were being sincere for now. It was easy to believe because it was a union that would have mutual benefits. I sat in the car and couldn't wait to get home to Gwen and the triplets. Retirement was still in the plan even though the peace seemed as if it would be stable. I could not wait to see Gwen and the triplets and celebrate the joy with them. "Can you believe what is about to happen?" I asked Marcus, and he smiled at me, nodding. "Gwen will be most thrilled about it." He replied, and that was when I summoned the courage to ask what I wanted. "Marcus," I said, and he looked at me eagerly. " I know everything is alright and well, but I want to ask Gwen to marry me," I said, and he frowned at me. "Is it because of the humans?" he asked, and I shook my head. "Not at all, Marcus; it is something that I had pondered about for a whil

Marcus. We got ready for the meeting with Barnes. As much as Gwen wanted to come with us, I did not allow it. She needed to rest. It was tough convincing her to remain, but she eventually agreed. Michael came around to keep her company, so It was easier for us. I had placed Michael as Beta, and everyone had reverted to their old ranks. Scott was the most pleased. I could see his relief. I did not know the work I delegated to him was that much until I saw his relief. Gwen and Michael had a lot of catching up to do, and I was hopeful that she would not even notice our absence. Michael refused to get back together with Ingrid, and I wanted to talk to him about it. I knew he was still mad at her but judging the situation, I believed it was best he forgave for the sake of his peace. Our children would be out of the bunker by the time we returned, and I was eager to see them hold them and play with them. It had been tough being without them. I was glad that everything seemed to be over.

  • Unwanted   113 Somethings Resolve Themselves

Marcus. I could not believe what had just happened to us. A solution and a problem. The mindless wolves they showed would be the first image humans of Linbec will have about us. There was no sensible way to manage this situation. If we are ever discovered, how will we prove to them that we is nothing like what they had seen on their screens? The human pop culture about us did not help matters either. We were fucked. Gardenia started looking more promising than it was yesterday. "What do we do now?" Mason asked. I could see the frustration in his eyes. "Breathe, and let it all play out," Gwen said, and I looked at her because she was panicking just now. "The government likes to control its citizens. Knowledge is power, and the government would not allow the citizens to have that kind of power. They will find a way to throw it off." She said, and I frowned at her. "Do you know how many werewolf sightings and stories they have buried? This will not be the first, nor will it be the la

  • Unwanted   112 A Problem Causing Solution

Gwen. It was amazing how simple the solution was. We had overthought many things, and that had somehow blown the issue out of proportion. If Barnes was right and could be trusted, it simply meant that everything would be alright. I intended to discuss retirement with Marcus and Mason. I know how much they liked running things, but we needed to focus on our family. I was tired of putting myself in harm's way for the sake of ingrates. We had lives too, and our lives were important. Our children needed us. As much as I would love to remain in charge, I just wanted to run my home and start a floral business. I had enough of the war. I wanted love and peace. After our discussion with Barnes, Marcus decided we should go to our second home, it had been a while, but that place held memories. Memories of my cripple days. It was there that I began to look within and appreciate what I really had. Being Luna did not matter anymore to me in that house. My children were with me, and I had concei

  • Unwanted   111 Barnes

Mason. Gwen slept most of the day, so I opted to carry her to the room while Marcus closed the office. She opened her eyes the moment I lifted her from the couch. "I can walk, Mace," she said with a sleepy smile. Her scent was more like mine. She looked cute, and I smiled at her. "Let me carry you, Gwen," I said, and she wrapped her arms around my neck to oblige me. She rested her head against my chest and tried to drift back into sleep. Our mission must have really drained her, and her body was currently trying to adjust. While I carried Gwen towards the packhouse, I thought of the possibility that we might not fight a war, and I was thankful. If Barnes comes through for us, we can fix the problem, retire in peace and build our family. Marcus was right not to want war. We had too much to lose. Carrying Gwen in my arms made me realise just how much we had to lose. I was sure that she would not back down if it came to war, and I could not bear to lose her. She might be immune to si

  • Unwanted   110 Benjamin's Reasons

Marcus. It was amazing to see how quickly Larry cracked after seeing the press release. It also showed the shallow nature of human friendship. Larry was loyal, and Benjamin wasn't. Larry's love for Mia also was troubling especially knowing how they viewed our kind and what they intended to use us for. It is heartbreaking. "Why should we trust you?" I asked Larry, but his crimson eyes had said it all. He was hurt, broken and felt betrayed. "This was not my plan," He said, "Benjamin had made some bad decisions that had affected our currency and economic stability. Many bad decisions that they would ask for his head if the people knew. Of course, Barnes wasn't in the know, and we kept it that way. Eventually, it was going to be exposed." He said, and I got curious. I wasn't patient with vague explanations. I prefered details, so I interrupted him. "Can you be specific about his mistakes?" I asked him, looking bored, and he nodded. He looked at the television long and hard. I was sure

  • Unwanted   109 Betrayal of friendship

Mason. I could not believe the extent of the wickedness of Larry and Benjamin. I wondered who else was in on it. To think of us as tools and disposable was cruel and wicked. I thought of Mia and could not imagine the torture the woman had gone through at the hands of that monster. If he did not see us as humans, he must have treated her like an animal. I felt sorry for her, and I could not wait for Timber to get back to us. "Are you really going to inform them at Gardenia?" Gwen asked Marcus, and he looked as if he was thinking about it. "I do not know, really," he said, and I frowned at him. "Are you contemplating it?" I asked him, and he looked at me a bit confused. "I have never been out of Linbec before, and neither have you. How the hell are we supposed to inform them? Who do we tell? Even if Timber can help us get the word across, we really do not know who these people are and what they are capable of. Even though Linbec's government is wrong for trying to take over another
