Alpha River angered.

Alpha River's POV

The win I just garnered from the meeting I had with Alpha Damon was sweet to my belly. I stood up from where I was and went out of the room his Beta had taken me to earlier so that we would not kill ourselves. Of course, the Beta, Beta Victor I think, came over to where I was and tried to attend to me. I smiled inwardly, knowing how hard it must have been for the stoic man to act like all was well between us.

"Don't worry, I can see myself to the room," I said to him. I could tell that he was amazed by the words that I spoke. Under normal circumstances, I was supposed to leave the Night Wolves Pack to allow the Alpha to cool off his steam. Yet, I wanted to stay behind and give him a hard time.

"You are supposed to be leaving this pack!" Beta Stephan growled at me.

"You have no right to address my Alpha like that!" Beta Victor, my Beta, growled right back at the other man.
