Damon's POV

By the time I began my walk back home, I was a little bit calm. When I said I was calm, it wasn't that I had completely let go of what that man said to me. It was just that I decided to find another approach to curb his flying wings.

And that was exactly what I felt like he was doing -I meant Alpha River. I could tell that he was deliberately trying to cross paths with me by all means necessary. Otherwise, I couldn't see why a mill that has been in my possession for almost five years was now becoming something of concern to the man. Let's not forget the fact that this man could make another mill for himself if he so wished to.

True, I could also let go of the mill and easily build one on my pack land, but I didn't want to make it easy for him, especially when I could see that he was trying to act superior to me.

But then what? The man had the audacity to go behind me and get a court approval for the mill to be shifted in his favor? My anger slowly rose as I thought
