13-Lost

We went to the living room and sat on the couch.

"I don't want to have you mad at me, and I'm sorry I didn't talk to you for 6 months."

"That hurt so much." I cried.

"I'm very sorry for that. I just couldn't process the fact, my daughter was having a relationship with my best friend, who's older than you. "

"I love him and that will never change." I sobbed, "Maybe he was older than me, but we weren't just fooling around, we were in love, dad." at this point I was crying uncontrollably.

"I'm sure a new love will come soon. And then you will realize that Nathaniel wasn't the one for you."

"I doubt that, Nate will always be the love of my life."

He just sighed, "Let's talk about you failing college."
