12-Six Months Later

I spent a lot of my time in my apartment. It's class and then home. I don't feel like going out. I barely eat or sleep.

Every time I close my eyes, Nate comes to mind. Wish he never left. I just hope when he comes back, that's if he does, he won't be with a girl.

I went to my parent's house. I was greeted by my sister.

"Hey, sis." She gave me a hug.

"Hey, Mia." I gave her a faint smile.

"You don't have to pretend with me. I know you're hurting."

"I am." Tears started to fall, lately, crying is all I do. "Are you alone?"

"Mom is taking a shower and dad is out, on a business trip."

"I see, he hasn't talked to me in 2 weeks. He never has time."

"He's just busy, dad is always busy."

"I guess." I shrugged. I don't know why he's being like this with me.

6 months later

Dad was cold with me, no signs of Nate. What else can go wrong?

"Miss Jacobs, you won't be graduating this year with us. You failed in three classes."
