Stella,

“Stella, is that you, honey?” Mom asks me when I walk through the door.

“Yes, mom it’s me.”

“How did your first session with Dr. Elizabeth go?” Of course, that would be the first thing she would ask me when I walked through the door. “It went find mom I say walking into the kitchen where she is... throwing something together for supper.

“Well, that’s good, honey. Why don’t you run on up and get yourself a shower, then when you get back down here, we can talk more about your day. That sound good.”

“No, mom it really doesn’t sound good,” I tell her. “What I want to do is go upstairs and forget about the day all together, okay?” I snap at her.

“Stella Rose Savage, what has gotten into you? You have never talked to me like that before. Start talking right now, young lady?”

“Damnit... mom, I don’t want to talk, I don’t want to think are anything else about what happened to me. Why can’t you and Dakoda understand and respect that

Kai, Fuck, she’s so fucking beautiful. I can’t believe we almost lost her. I will never let this girl out of my sights ever again. As I’m lowering myself inside her, I can feel her stretching for me and FUCK, I won’t last long. It’s been weeks since I have been inside her. “You okay baby I ask her as I bury myself all the way inside her. I don’t intend to stop now.” “Kai... Stella whispers and I lose myself to her.” After we have cleaned up, we lay back down in the bed and I can’t help it. I still want answers to why she thought killing herself was the best answer to her problems. “Stell?” Kai.” “Will you talk to me, baby? I need to know what was going through your head at the time and if there is anything we can do to prevent you from feeling that way ever again. Please don’t shut me out this time, Stella.” Stella puts a finger to her lips to ssh me, then sets up on her elbow and looks down at me. “Kai, the best way to explain what I was feeling was lik

Kai, I exit my truck and proceed towards my first building. Once I’m in my classroom, I get my books out and get ready for our first test of the morning. When the professor walks into the room, he has someone with him, and I about bust a gut right then. It takes all I have not to get out of my seat and run up to the front of the class and cut that fucker’s throat. He must not realize I know what he looks like. My professor must be fucking blind to not know who he is. Me: Call 911, he’s in my fuckin’ classroom. Gage: What the fuck, Kai... who’s in your classroom? Fuck, my brother is stupid some fucking times. Me: The fucking professor, Gage. Gage: Fuck! On it. I sit in my seat at the back of the classroom and try my hardest to look nonchalant, but fuck, it’s hard... what is taking the cops so long to get here? This class is almost over. Sure enough, by the time we are done with our test and the bell rings... he’s fucking gone by the time the cops sho

Stella, Kai and my dad have really made me angry right now. I’m tired of being treated like a child. I’ve been through so much already. They shouldn’t control my life as well. Knowing that my dad and Kai are on the same side, I march to my room and pack my clothes, accepting my fate like a good girl. Once I get up to my room, I remember my phone is laying on my bed where I left it when I went to get a shower earlier... so I go to pick it up, and I freeze in place. My hands shake so badly I can barely hold my phone in my hands. I slide down my bed to the floor and yell for my dad because I honestly don’t know what else to do. Unknown: Picture attached... I’m here for you, baby. We can finally be together with no one standing in our way. My dad and Kai run up to my room in no time flat. Dad asked me what was wrong, then handed my phone to Kai. He then pulled me onto his lap like when I was little. “What the hell is going on?” Dakoda comes into my room

Kai, It’s been over three weeks since we have had any lead on where Stella could be. We are all worn out sniping at each other. Even the parents are fighting at this point. Baby, where are you at. “Kai, are you in your room?” Korey asks, knocking on the door. “Coming I yell back.” “Yea, what’s up?” I ask when I open the door. “Hey, we are all going to go grab a bite to eat. Do you want to come?” “No, thank you. I’m going to stay here and do a little more camera searching on my computer. We should find something soon, I tell him.” “Okay bruh.” I sit down at my computer and get logged in. Then open my camera feeds. I have been going over the same feeds for the last two weeks since our door to door came up with nothing. Come on, baby, show me just a glimpse of where he took you. I search, and search until my eyes just can’t stay open any longer, so I lay down in my bed, and close my eyes. I feel like I just got good

Stella, My sister and Mac follow us outside, and once Kai puts me down, they are on him like white on rice. “What do you think you are doing caring her out of the club like a freaking cave man?” Dakoda asks him with her thumb all up in his chest. I giggle at his face, and he looks over at me. Like you going to help me out here? “Dakoda.... sis, I told him I was ready to get out of here.” “She rounds on me next. What the hell Stella, where are you going?” “Home!” “Home?” “Yes, home,” I say with a butt outlook, and she gets the hint. “Oh, home gotcha. Well, you kids have fun.” She says, then she and Mac skip back inside. At 3 am, I woke up to a banging sound and left the bedroom with my bat. I twisted around to go back to the bedroom. I try to be quiet, so I don’t wake him, but when I get back into the bed, he wraps his arms around me. “Where’d you go baby he asks sleepy?” “I thought I heard something in the kitchen, so I went to s

Kai, I wake up to Stella yelling and throwing herself around in the bed. The nightmares have been happening a lot the last week since she saw that bastard professor at her school out in the hall. It has taken everything we have to get her to go to school every day. We remind her on a daily she only has a few weeks left of the school, then we are all going to head to the Bahamas for the summer. That way, we can get her out of this place and hopefully away from him for a bit. “Stella baby, wake up. You’re having another one of your nightmares, baby. Come on, get up.” Stella jumps up in a setting position. “He’s coming for me, she cries.” I wipe the tears that are falling from her face and lay her back down on me. “Baby, we have talked about this. He will not get to you, not while I am still up and walking around.” “You shouldn’t joke about stuff like that, Kai. He is a monster. He could do anything to you.” “Okay, you have a good point, but we will not

Kai, It’s Saturday finally, and it’s the day of my girl’s prom, but it’s not until tonight. So, I want to take her out for the day and make her feel special, but she is already up and making plans with her sister. Damnit. “Makes you mad sometimes huh?” Korey asks from behind me? “Fuckin’ A it does. I wanted to take her out today. Get her nails and hair done for this afternoon, but it looks like your girl has done beat me to it.” “Oh, you’re telling me, brother? Before you came along and showed Stella how you really felt, we had to share our girl with your girl, and your girl got our girl more than we did sometimes.” “Um- wait until they get older. It will just get worse, I tell him, and we both shudder.” The girls saw us, then walked over to tell us what they were doing and what time they’d be back by. “Are you girls sure you don’t want us to go with you?” I ask. Stella comes up to me and kisses me, then leans down into my ear and whispe

Stella, Kai looks so handsome tonight.... I don’t know how lucky I am to have someone like him interested in me. My mind is so messed up, I can’t distinguish between reality and imagination anymore. I’m seeing that asshole everywhere, even when he’s not really there, and my dreams are getting worse... and worse. Nowadays, I cry more than I smile. I just want this nightmare to be over so I can move on with my life and be a normal teenager again. “Stell baby, where did you go?” Kai asks me? “Sorry what?” “I asked you if you wanted a glass of champagne. They keep it stocked on the limos, so I thought we could all have a glass before prom.” “Just a small sip,” I tell him. “That a girl.” Kai gets me a small amount of champagne and we clink our glasses before we drink it. “Oh, god that stuff is nasty.” My face puckers in an ugly face. Everyone laughs at me... “was it nasty, sister?” Dakoda asks? “Yes, how do you guys drink that junk?” After that, we don’t drink

Stella, After we’re done eating with our parents, we all head into the living room to visit a little longer before we all head home for the night. “Stella, mom and dad have to talk to you about something. Could we go into the study right quick?” “Um- sure?” “Once in the study, dad closes the door, so the others can’t hear our conversation. Stella Professor Hamilton’s daughter reached out to us and would like to talk to you. She wants to apologize to you in person for what you endured. Are you up to talking to her, dad asks me? “NO!” I yell. I refuse to have any involvement with anyone associated with that monster. We are both able to sleep soundly through the night with no nightmares. I don’t care about her apology. Why didn’t they report him before he hurt someone else? I didn’t realize I was crying until Dad hugged me. “It’s okay baby girl, you do not have to do anything you are not comfortable doing.” “Mom and I will let her know it is not a good idea

He’s younger than Professor Hamilton and his hair is a little longer. “Is she okay the Professor asks, coming up the stairs toward us?” “Yes, she will be fine,” Dakoda tells him, and I nod my head at him. After the class is over, the Professor asks me to stay and talk to him for a minute. I knew this was going to happen. I was just hoping not this soon. “Yes, Professor Douglas.” “Hey, Miss. Savage, do you want to explain to me what just happened up there at the being of the class?” “I don’t want to get into the specifics because it’s still difficult, but for a moment, you reminded me of someone who caused me pain. However, my sister helped me realize you are not that person. You have my word that it won’t ha

CollegeStella, “Today’s the big day, sister. Are you ready?” Dakoda asks me as I’m getting out of Kai’s car. Today we start our first day of big girl school, otherwise known as college. Oh, Stella thought, it was so damn funny. “You liked that, didn’t you I ask her?” walking up to where she was standing, she knows exactly what I was about to do? “Don’t you dare, Kai she squeaks at me and runs behind her dad.” “Oh, baby do you really think daddy will save you I ask her... raising one of my brows at her.” “I most certainly WILL- not Jim says bringing Stella right where I need her.” I give her my biggest playboy smile and charge her, throwing her right over my shoulders. “Kai, you put me down right this instant.” I do, but not before I slap her on her ass. “You dick she whispers.” “I got your dick.” I tell her, then remove her teeth from her bottom lip and reach down to give her a kiss. “I love you, baby.” I whisper over her lips, and she shivers. We do a few tasks before lunch, and afterwards the girls go for manicures an

I need you mostly Dakoda because you know what she likes, and you... bozos can be my support team.” “Well, it’s about damn time.” Dakoda says, giving me a high five. “Yea... yea, let’s get this done before Stella gets off work. By the way, how did you get the day off?” “Told him I had a doctor’s appointment, but it wasn’t him I had to worry about. It was your girl. She wanted to know why I didn’t tell her and was determined she was going to go with me.” “Stubborn ass woman.” “You’re telling me,” Dakoda says. “Well, let’s hit the road.” The woman in the jewelry store eyed us nervously. I almost tell her she can kiss my ass and I will take my business elsewhere, but I remember there are no

Stella, We have arrived in the Bahamas. It’s beautiful down here. We rented a condo on the ocean, so all we had to do was walk right out our front door and be on the beach. Kai and I have one condo, mom and dad have another right beside us, and Dakoda and the boys have another condo right on the other side of mom and dad. We all agreed to meet up for dinner tonight in our parent’s condo. All the condos have kitchen nets in them so my parents insisted on cooking in most nights unless we are all out late doing fun stuff then we can eat out. So, we all head to our own condos to get showers and dressed for dinner tonight. When Kai and I step into our condo, we are both taken away by the view. “Holy shit baby, this is beautiful. Hawaii is pretty in its own way, but this place just has something about it that makes it so amazing,” Kai says. “It would be nice for a wedding, don’t you think?” What? A wedding? Why is Kai talking about weddings? Is he going to? Then I re

Kai, It’s graduation day for Stella and the gang. I haven’t seen her since the time she came to the hospital, so I want to surprise her today at her graduation. She hasn’t told me where she’s going to college yet, but the sky’s the limit with a full ride. That makes me so proud of her and wherever she goes to college, I will still be there with her. We will figure our relationship. “Kai bro, you ready?” Gage asks, coming into my apartment. Luckily, the apartment is on the first floor, so it helps to get in and out with the cane. I’ve done pretty good with the cane that the therapist says I will probably walk without it in a month are two. “Yea, let’s hit the road. Stella doesn’t know I’m coming, right?” “No, she still thinks you’re mad at her and never want to see her again. Gage snaps.” “Where are you going?” Gage asks. “My truck,” I tell him. “No, you’re not. You can’t drive, Gage says.” “The fuck I can’t. I say and move on to my truck and get in.”

Kai, “Hey, Kai Stella has called for the third time today. Would you like to call her back or should I keep telling her you’re still sleeping?” Gage asks me, and I know he’s getting aggravated at me, but I really don’t give a shit at this point. Gage doesn’t understand what’s going on right now. I’m really trying to work through all this shit, so I don’t take it out on my girl, because I know this shit isn’t on her. She never asked for her psycho teacher to have an effectuation with her. Then kidnap her not once but twice. She also didn’t ask me to run away from the guy trying to get to her and get shot in the back. No, she never asked for any of this, but I still in the back of my head blame her some, so I want to have a clear head when I see her again. “Just tell her I’m still asleep with Gage.” “Damn it, Kai, how long are you going to avoid her?” “Until I’m out of this fuckin’ bed. Is that what you want to hear, Gage. Just go back to your friends and girlfriend and

Korey says raising his hand, and we all laugh.” “Did you guys know we were going to get scholarships?” I ask the guys and Dakoda.... we haven’t been at the school for long and I have missed so much. I’m even surprised I graduated with you guy this year. “So, how did you guys pull it off I ask, looking at Korey, the ringleader of all things that gets done around here?” “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Stella. Contrary to what you believe, I don’t have that kind of pull.” I just give him the stink eye, then walk over to where Kai and my parents are waiting. “So, care bear, have you told Kai what college you are going to yet, or are you going to make the poor guy sweat it out a little while longer? Dad whispers in my ear when I give him a hug, and I just smile up at him.”
