Seeing the shock in her eyes, I slowly got up.

Only then did I see that the person surrounded by mist was none other than Megan from the video at the charity dinner.

Only her face was scarred.

"Scared?" Lauren came to my ear at some point and murmured softly.

I laughed. "Are you going to turn me into that as well?"

After saying that, Lauren looked at me almost obsessively and said, "Of course not, this face of yours, although annoying, is really beautiful. So, I want the skin on your face..."

I shuddered.

Could this be what she was ultimately after, but what did she want the skin for?

Just as I was lost in thought.

Lauren had already torn the skin off the right side of her face, revealing a hideous and horrible scar.
