I shook my head. "No. Someone as sick as me isn't suitable. I might end up hurting someone the next moment. My dad's friend is right. I have a long life ahead of me. I want to live a better life, so my dad won't worry on the other side."

I touched the tip of my nose, which felt slightly sour.
