Nelly lifted the bracelet high above her head, a malicious smile spreading across her face.

“The more you care, the more I want to destroy it. After all, you’re the mistress who wrecked my family!”

Then she let go.

“No!” I screamed.

With a loud crack, the bracelet hit the ground and shattered into a million pieces. I trembled as anger coursed through my body.

The bracelet held immense significance for me.

When I was a child, my parents were always busy, and so I was raised by my grandmother.

She passed away two years ago, leaving me with the bracelet as a parting gift. Wearing it felt like having her by my side.

Now it lay in pieces, and my last connection to her was gone.

I glared at Nelly and her friends, my eyes burning with rage.

I gritted my teeth and glared at them. “You’ll regret that. Even if you get on your knees and beg for your lives, nothing can fix this. Not one of you will escape!”

Nelly's expression turned vicious.

“Look at this filthy mistress still talking tough, ladies! We’ve got to teach her a lesson!”

As it was all happening on the sidewalk, many onlookers had gathered around to watch the scene unfold.

I pleaded for help, but they eyed me coldly as I sank into utter despair.

To make their punishment more thorough, Nelly and her friends dragged me into a nearby alley.

In the secluded space, their torment became more ruthless. They tore at my clothes and pulled at my hair.

I clutched the hem of my coat tightly. Thankfully, it was winter, so I had worn a few layers that made it difficult for them to completely undress me.

“Don’t touch me! This is wrong! You’re all going to pay for this!”

One slightly plump woman viciously jabbed her finger at my forehead.

“You dare lecture us about the law?”

They seemed to be growing frustrated by how long it was taking.

“You harlot! You see a rich man, a CEO of a public company and you want to steal him! I’ll tear your face apart now and see how you’ll seduce men like him in the future!”

I quickly dodged her attack but lost a chunk of hair in the process, the sudden pain causing me to gasp.

These women were lunatics!

“I’ll make you regret that,” I warned her.

In response, the rest began to punch and kick me.

Nelly stepped on my arm and put all her weight into it to keep me still.

My face turned pale as she smiled in satisfaction.

“Go ahead, you arrogant woman! Let’s see how much you can take!

“This is my retribution!”

I wanted to fight back, but there were too many of them, and they had pinned me firmly to the ground.

I looked up at Nelly. “Call Drake right now and ask him who I am!”

Nelly grabbed my head and slammed it against the ground.

“Who else could you be but a dead mistress?

“Don’t think I don’t know you want Drake to come rescue you. Stop dreaming! Even God can’t save you now.”

In the live chat, someone asked: [Isn’t it a crime to beat someone up like that?]

Nelly increased the pressure on my arm and pointed at my face.

“This woman is a troublemaker. If I don’t teach her a lesson, she’ll just go after other men. Maybe even your husbands.

“I’m doing us a favor!”

The comments section erupted with messages showing their support.

[Such women ruin societal morals and deserve a good beating!]

[If I weren’t at work right now, I’d rush over and slap her myself!]

[My husband was once captivated by a mistress, and he abandoned me and my son. I have zero tolerance for women like these!]

Encouraged by their words, Nelly’s arrogance soared to new heights as she beat me mercilessly.

I had never felt such rage before.

I bit my lip and took the beating.

Suddenly, my vision darkened, and just before I passed out, I thought I heard the sound of police sirens...

When I woke up, I found myself lying in a hospital bed. The doctor informed me that I had multiple injuries, a concussion, and a fractured arm. I glanced at my wrapped arm and let out a cold laugh. "I’ll deal with those idiots one by one."Suddenly, a woman in the adjacent bed spat at me. "You're that little mistress, aren't you? Have some shame. You ruined someone else's family, and you deserve to be beaten."I shot her a glance but chose to ignore her. The live stream had been cut off after I lost consciousness, so no one knew the truth. Everyone took Nelly at her word.I requested a private room and thankfully the hospital complied. A few minutes later, I lay in the VIP room and picked up my phone. The screen was shattered but still functional. I noticed numerous missed calls from Drake. I hadn't answered any of them so he sent me a message instead.[Where are you, Megs? Please answer the phone. I'm worried sick.]He must have seen the live stream. After all,

Drake’s call broke through my reminiscing. I dismissed it and called my secretary, Gloria Chase instead. Under my guidance, she prepared a divorce agreement for me. Then she visited me at the hospital with the document in hand. Nelly and her group of friends had been taken away by the police. I got out of bed and, with Gloria's support, walked out of the hospital and made my way to the police station. The moment Nelly saw me, she fumed. "Why aren't you arresting her instead?"I glanced at her before walking up to the police officer. "Hello, officer. Nelly Brook and her accomplices assaulted me, damaged my car, and destroyed my valuables worth more than two hundred million dollars. “I want to pursue this matter thoroughly, so I appreciate your assistance." Nelly cackled. "You liar! How could your worthless junk be worth so much? You may as well go rob a bank instead!" One of her friends nodded in agreement. "Yeah, don't think we don't know they’re all fakes!" Gloria

Nelly was momentarily stunned."Honey, I’m right here!" she called out to Drake.Drake ignored her, trying to keep his composure. I noticed that he was sweating despite the cold."Listen to me, Megs. This isn’t what you think. Just give me a chance to explain, please?" he asked nervously.I sneered. "Explain how you cheated, used my money, lived in my house, and kept a mistress while having a child with her?"Nelly lunged forward and clung to Drake’s arm. "Honey, did you mistake her for me? I’m your wife! What’s going on?"Drake shook her off. "Shut up! Megs is my wife. We’re legally married. You’re not—get out of my sight and stop ruining my life."So, the marriage certificate he’d given her was fake.Nelly looked at Drake in disbelief."This has to be a joke…" she stammered. When she got pregnant, Nelly had insisted on getting married. If I weren’t my father’s daughter, with the family wealth, he never would have stayed with me. The more I thought about it, the more disturbing it felt. He might have known who I was from back in college and had deliberately pursued me."You know exactly how well I treated you, Drake!"“Don’t give me that!” he yelled, his face twisted in fury. He was on the verge of madness. “Don’t think I don’t see it—you’ve always treated me like a dog on a leash. You never really loved me.”I froze. I finally understood why he was with Nelly. I had just stepped out of my car, ready to head into the mall for some shopping when I noticed a group of people charging toward me from across the street.
