Yvette hadn't expected Zoey to actually say something like that. After all, Zoey was the daughter that Yara loved wholeheartedly.

Yvette had already arrived at the hospital's entrance. She said to Zoey, "I'm already here."

When Zoey heard that, she couldn't find any more excuses. "I'll be there later." Then, she ended the call and told Mila to prepare the car.

After Yara was saved in the hospital, she was unconscious and didn't wake up until after a long while. When she opened her eyes, she struggled to look out the window. Then, she saw Zoey making a call on the balcony.

When Zoey heard Yara's weak voice, she put her phone away and walked toward her. "Mom, you're awake."

Yara nodded. "Yeah. Did you bring me back here?"

Zoey lied without flinching at all. "That's right. Don't wander around in the future. It's too dangerous. Got it?"

Shortly after she'd arrived, Yvette left the hospital.

"Alright. I'll listen to you." Yara looked at Zoey with a kind gaze.
