NOAH’S POV

The moment we stepped into the gymnastics room, the scent of sweat and rubber mats greeted us. Today’s activity was all about letting off steam, yoga, boxing, cardio, lifting weights. You name it. But apparently, Penny wasn’t a fan.

“Oh, hell no,” she groaned dramatically, fanning the air with her hand. “I hate the gym. The awful smell of sweat irks me. All this weight lifting and gross stretching. I already have a slender figure, Nathan’s body is literally carved by angels, and you, Noah...” she narrowed her eyes at me and poked my side, “...you’re too tiny for all this. I can’t let you break your bones trying to lift some dumbbell.”

I shot her a playful glare, but I could barely keep a straight face when Nathan bit back a laugh, clearly trying not to choke.

“Let’s just ditch this place and go eat,” Penny added with an exaggerated sigh. “We should focus on making Noah bigger. He’s basically snack-sized.”

Nathan finally let out his laughter, patting me on the head like I wa

NOAH’S POVThe scent of pancakes and eggs filled the air as I sat at the dining table, absently pushing my fork through my food. Gavin was already stuffing his face like a starving wolf, while Lucas, as usual, sat stiffly, barely eating.Breakfast at our house was usually loud, filled with Gavin’s teasing and Lucas’ occasional grumbling. But today, the air was heavy.Lucas finally cleared his throat, setting his fork down. “Noah,” he said firmly.I paused, glancing up. “Yeah?”He exhaled slowly, his fingers tightening around his mug. “From today onward, you’ll be dressing as a guy.”I blinked. For a moment, I thought I’d misheard him.“What?”Lucas met my gaze for half a second before looking away. “It’s for your safety.”My stomach twisted. “My safety?” I scoffed. “How exactly does pretending to be a guy keep me safe?”Neither of them answered immediately. Lucas simply cut into his pancake with calculated calmness, avoiding my eyes.A cold, bitter feeling settled in my chest. “You’re

ARES' POVThe battlefield was quiet now, but the silence didn’t bring peace, it never did. The only sounds were the crackling flames from torched bodies and the occasional groan of a dying rogue.Blood soaked my hands, my claws, the ground beneath me. My warriors stood victorious, but there was no triumph in their eyes. This wasn’t a battle won.It was another warning.Another message from the bastards who wanted to take everything from me.The sharp metallic scent of blood filled my nostrils, and my wolf, Rex, growled in frustration. They ran again.Cowards.They never stayed long enough to finish what they started. Just long enough to keep us on edge. To make sure I was too busy to search for her.My mate. The thought of her was the only thing keeping me from completely losing myself to the rage. I exhaled sharply, trying to steady my breathing. She was out there. Somewhere. Unprotected And every second I wasted in these meaningless battles was another second she remained unprotect

  • UNTAMED FATE   CHAPTER THREE

NOAH'S POV The moment Professor Ares walked out of the hall, something in me urged to follow him. I had no idea why, maybe it was the way he had looked at me, like he was trying to see through me. Or maybe it was the intense aura around him I hesitated, gripping my backpack strap. What was wrong with me? He was just a professor, a ridiculously good-looking, intense, and way too smart professor. Then why did I feel hot air on my skin every time he looked at me? I shook the thought away, trying to ground myself, but my focus shattered when a bright, chirpy voice interrupted. "Hi! I'm Penelope, but you can call me Penny! And you must be Noah, right?" I turned to see a petite girl with bright eyes and a contagious smile, standing far too close for comfort. I hesitated, adjusting my voice to maintain a deep, masculine tone. "Yeah… that’s me. Nice to meet you." Penny beamed. "I knew it! New face, clueless expression, classic signs of a newbie. I know what you must be thinking, ‘Oh,

NOAH’S POVThe morning sun stretched lazily across the sky, casting golden streaks over Siege University’s vast campus. Students milled about, lost in their own worlds, laughter and conversations blending into a distant hum.Penny and Nathan walked on either side of me, their energy contagious. It had been a few days since I’d met them, and strangely, I felt comfortable with them. Too comfortable, maybe.Penny crunched on a chip, her green eyes twinkling mischievously. “So, tell me, pretty boy, what’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?”I arched a brow. “What?”She grinned. “Come on, spill. Everyone has one.”Nathan snorted. “She just wants material to tease you with. What a sneaky witch."“Not really, but that would be fun” Penny winked.I licked my chocolate lollipop, making a pop sound. “Sorry to disappoint, but I’m flawless. No embarrassing moments here.”Penny gasped dramatically. “Liar! That’s impossible. I demand a story.”“Nope.”“Please?”“No.”“Just a t

ARES’ POVThe night was cold, the air crisp as I walked through the empty halls, my mind tangled in thoughts I couldn't seem to unravel. The weight of responsibility pressed down on me, the expectations of an entire pack resting on my shoulders like an iron shackle. Then, I heard it.A muffled cry. A whimper.I froze, my entire body going rigid. My sharp ears picked up the faint, trembling sound, my instincts sharpening like a blade. The scent of distress, fear, and something else–something that made my wolf snarl, hung in the air.Someone was in trouble.Following the sound, I moved swiftly, silent as a predator, until I reached the dimly lit corridor leading to the restroom. That’s when I heard them.Laughter. Cruel. Mocking."Pathetic human.""Stealing all the attention.""Can you believe my mate is even crushing on him too?"A low growl rumbled in my chest, my wolf stirring violently beneath my skin.Wolves.I didn’t need to see them to know what kind of cowards stood on the other

LUCAS’ POVI sat in the dimly lit living room, fingers pressed against my temples as Gavin paced in front of me, his expression tense."You won't believe who I saw today," he said, raking a hand through his hair. "Alpha Ares. At Noah’s school."My stomach clenched at the mention of that name. Alpha Ares Luther. The strongest Alpha of our time, the one cursed by fate, the one who is feared and respected by wolves and Alphas alike."What was he doing there?" I asked, though I already knew the answer. He's obviously looking for his mate."He’s a lecturer," Gavin said. "Lucas, we can’t keep running. Maybe it’s time we let Ares know about Noah. He’s her mate. He can protect her better than we can. And he's already close to her, it's only a matter of time before he realizes the truth."I shot up from my chair, my wolf growling inside me. "No," I said firmly. "We move again. We leave before he figures it out."Gavin groaned in frustration. "Lucas, listen to yourself! We can’t keep uprooting

NOAH’S POVThe moment I stepped into the lecture hall, all heads turned my way. I instantly regretted being late. Finding a cab wasn't easy.A woman stood at the front of the class, arms crossed, an eyebrow raised as she met my gaze. Her stern eyes assessed me, and I knew what was coming."Mr. Leister, you are late," she said, her tone carrying the weight of authority. The logical part of me told me to apologize and take my seat, but where was the fun in that? A mischievous grin tugged at my lips as an idea sparked in my head like firecrackers."You must be a new lecturer," I mused, tilting my head in feigned confusion. The corners of her lips twitched slightly. "What do you mean? Is there something I wasn't informed about you?" she questioned, trying to figure me out."Not exactly," I replied smoothly. "It’s just… I’m quite familiar with all my lecturers, and I don’t recall knowing anyone this hot."I threw in a wink for good measure.A faint blush dusted her cheeks as she shifted aw

NOAH'S POVProfessor Rex led me out of the school like he owned the place, walking with his usual confidence and not bothering to explain where we were going. I had to practically jog to keep up with his long strides."You know, for someone who just saved me from a disciplinary hearing, you could at least tell me where we’re headed," I grumbled, trying not to sound out of breath."You’ll see soon enough," he replied without sparing me a glance.I rolled my eyes. "Mysterious and broody. Got it."We stepped out into the parking lot, and I barely had time to register the sleek black sports car parked at the entrance before he unlocked it with a press of a button.I blinked. "Wait… this is yours?"He gave me a sideways glance before getting in. "No, I stole it."I scoffed, opening the passenger door. "You’re hilarious, Professor."The interior smelled like expensive leather and something distinctly him;cold, fresh, and something dangerously addictive. As we pulled onto the road, silence s

The beasts inside stirred, snarling lowly under their breath, their eyes glowing a feral red in the dim lighting. My creations. My monsters. My genius."They’re calm today," I noted as he approached, his white coat stained with blotches of dried fluids. He, too, wore a look of pride—like a man who believed he had created perfection. He wasn’t entirely wrong. But he wasn’t the mind behind it all. That was me."That’s because of the new serum I developed," He said coolly, motioning toward the cages. "Watch this."He turned toward the beasts, eyes flickering with excitement. Then he issued a single command through the mind-link: “Growl.”The result was instantaneous. All seven beasts erupted

NOAH’S POVThe sun was slowly beginning to sink beneath the horizon, casting a golden glow over the beach and painting the ocean in shades of orange and pink. Laughter echoed through the salty air, mixing with the crashing of waves. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and for once, I allowed myself to relax—just a little.Nathan was out in the water, surfing like he was born to ride the waves. His moves were clean and confident, earning cheers from the crowd each time he caught a good one. He looked carefree… in his element.Penny, on the other hand, was doing what she did best, flirting. She stood near the bonfire, tossing her wavy hair over her shoulder, her voice sweet as honey while she talked to two ridiculously good-looking guys from another department. The poor guys were clearly enchanted, their grins growing wider with every flutter of her lashes.I chuckled under my breath. If only they knew...Penny was deeply in love with her fiancé, to the point of writing sappy poe

My stomach growled in anticipation.Penny inhaled dramatically, eyes fluttering shut like she’d reached nirvana. “Food is life,” she moaned. “I keep telling you guys!”Nathan just shook his head at her antics, though the corner of his lips twitched with a smile. We made our way to a table near the window. I let Penny take the lead with ordering, since she practically memorized the entire menu within two minutes. As we waited, the din of the restaurant filled the air, cheerful and loud, students buzzing with excitement from the trip.“I swear,” Penny grumbled, pulling her ponytail tighter. “I’m going to punch your handsome roommate. Sebastian is driving me nuts.”I chuckled softly, “He’s not that bad, Penny. You literally said that he was nice.”“Yeah, like a psycho on a dating app,” she retorted.Nathan glanced between us. “You seem to

ARES' POVSteam still clung to my skin as I stepped out of the bathroom, towel-dried hair damp and messy, a black bathrobe wrapped loosely around my frame. The marble floor was cold under my feet, but the chill that prickled down my spine wasn’t from the temperature.I wasn’t alone.Noah was already gone. I heard his quiet footsteps tiptoeing out earlier, probably thinking I wouldn’t notice. But someone else was here. The scent hit me a second later...sweet, vanilla faintly spiced. Familiar. Unwelcome.Elsa.My jaw tightened. What the hell was she doing here? Before I could call out, she stepped into the bedroom like she owned it, that signature smile plastered on her lips, overconfident, too perfect. Her long white-blonde hair cascaded down her back, bouncing slightly with every step. Her pale blue eyes sparkled, but there was something off in her aura...something new, faint but unmistakable. My wolf stirred, sensing it too.I folded my arms, expression unreadable. “What are you doin

NOAH'S POVMy head felt like a marching band was stomping through it. I groaned, pressing my palm to my forehead as I blinked against the sunlight pouring through the large glass doors. Okay, it's official—alcohol is not for me. Ever again. Just two damn glasses and it feels like my brain's been spun in a blender.Bits and pieces of the night flashed behind my eyelids. Playing that stupid truth-or-dare game, laughing way too hard with Penny and Nathan... then feeling overwhelmed and going out for air. Then I saw...professor Rex?My eyes widened slightly. Yeah, I remember seeing him standing by the sea, just brooding and godlike like always… but after that? Nothing. Just blank. A total wipeout. It felt weirdly familiar. History repeating itself. Except this time, I didn’t even know whose room I woke up in. My arms stretched across silk sheets that didn’t feel like mine. My room had soft cotton, and an average size bed. I sat up slowly, and the headache groaned along with me.The inter

ARES’ POVI still couldn’t shake off the image burned into my head from this morning. That damn hug.I’d tried everything to distract myself—sparring with Birdy, drowning in paperwork, even meditating, for goddess’ sake. Nothing worked. Rex, my wolf, was brooding in the corner of my mind like a child denied candy. The pull I felt toward Little Leister was suffocating, and seeing another man's arms around him had sparked something feral in me.So, like a lost idiot, I wandered toward the sea, hoping the salty breeze would numb my raging thoughts.Humans said the ocean calmed the soul. Maybe it did, for them. But I wasn’t human. I was a werewolf Alpha. Powerful, lonely—and right now, pissed beyond belief.I stood at the edge of the shoreline, eyes locked on the restless waves crashing beneath the moonlight. My thoughts were loud. Too loud. His face kept flashing in my head—those stormy gray eyes, the stupid little smirk he wore when he teased me, the softness in his voice when he whispe

NOAH’S POVThe softness beneath me felt unfamiliar—too gentle, too clean. I blinked against the golden light pouring through the curtains, mind foggy, muscles oddly relaxed. For a second, I didn’t even know where I was. Then two sharp green eyes stared down at me.I jolted upright. “Penny!”My voice cracked, and I nearly headbutted her in my haste. Without thinking, I lunged forward and wrapped my arms around her, burying my face in her shoulder.God, I missed her.Not even a full day had passed, but the silence she left behind had pressed on my chest like a weight. It was too still, too empty. As though something essential had been scooped out of me.She didn’t hesitate—just hugged me back, warm and tight, like she always did. Penny never cared about the rules. Never made things complicated. Whether I was Noah the boy or the girl I really was, she loved me anyway. When I pulled back, I found her studying my face with concern.“Where were you?” I asked, breathless.“Nathan said you ha

ARES' POV I sat in the backseat of the black Mercedes, fingers clenched into a tight fist on my lap. The air in the car was thick, suffocating almost, as I replayed the scene from earlier—over and over again. That damned image. Sebastian’s arm wrapped around Noah. Little Leister The protective, almost possessive way Sebastian held him. My jaw clenched. He had no right. No one did. How dare he let someone touch him like that? A low growl vibrated in my throat as I leaned back against the leather seat. The engine purred softly, and yet, the rage burning within me roared like a wildfire. I was this close to snapping earlier—if Sebastian had said one more word, if he had looked at me with that smug glint in his eyes—I might have ripped him in half. "Noah doesn't know who Sebastian is" Rex tried to reason But the rational voice in my head was quickly drowned out by the fury. I didn’t care. The passenger door opened abruptly, and Penny slid in, dressed in a chic white
