PROLOGUE

Umpisa

YOU'RE THE ONLY MAN who I cherished so much and nothing else, Hydrus. You are special to me which is why I'd like to tell you that I am not yet ready to settle down. One way or another, I'd still hurt you. But it would be wrong of me to accept this ring, Hydrus. I am so sorry. I hope someday you will meet someone who could love you and stay by your side limitlessly because it wasn't me, Hydrus. 

Those exact lines echoed on his mind like a newly purchased compact disc being played coherently. As if it were made from his rotten past to make him suffered, making his life a hive of grief.

It's been a couple of years since the woman he thought who'll be there with him for always and who'd be there so they'll accomplish the life they both dreamt of living refused his marriage proposal. 

Dalawang taon na ang dumaan at hindi pa rin niya maiahon ang sarili mula sa mapanglaw niyang kahapon. Naubos na ang sakit ngunit galit naman ang pumalit. 

He never thought that she could turned him down without enough excuse and reason. Walong taon lang naman niya itong naging nobya. After he made a tough decision to set aside his auspicious life in Istanbul to take their relationship to the next step, at ang makukuha lang niyang kapalit ay ang kabiguan?

Where was the effin’ sense of that? 

He had been a loyal boyfriend to her. He never tried to commit himself to cheating in spite of being miles away from each other. They shared their dreams and goals in life. Mahirap tanggapin na mauuwi lang pala sa hiwalayan ang lahat.

He was left alone. Yesterday turned him into a different version of himself today. Kahit siya ay hindi na ma–recognize ang sarili. He was totally changed. 

From being gentle to an ill–tempered son of a bítch, that was how those people who knew him well said. From sociable and amiable, he was now an untouchable motherfúcker.

“Lie on your stomach, babe. Face upward, please. Let me blow you, babe.” A flirty, mushy voice of a woman made Hydrus’ eyes cluttered open unwillingly.

Nakadapa siya sa kanyang kama at nakalaylay ang isang kamay sa sahig na parang tinakasan ng lakas ang kanyang mga kasukasuan. 

“How long have you been here?” he questioned the unknown woman unwelcomingly. Nakalapat sa kanyang timbre ang solidong pagkayamot. 

He's drained. The usual form of him of course. Kung hindi lutang ay lasing. 

She felt the woman pressing her breasts at his bare back. Hydrus inhaled sharply. Wala siyang lakas na ipagtabuyan ang babaeng hindi niya napansing nakapasok pala sa kanyang villa— a seafront villa who he called his lair. 

Exactly 15 months ago when Hydrus purchased an extensive seacost property and he developed it into a not–your–typical beach resort. A resort which only entertain adults. The resorts allowed their guests to disrobe up to their comfort level inside the vicinity. Immoral ika nga ang mga aktibidadis sa loob ng Hydrus Haven. Everyone is allowed to enjoy the seafront and infinite pools with or without clothes, with or without partners, sex in public and so on. It's a lair for non–nudists or nudists who'd love to taste the wildest form of liberty.

Yeah. That's the kind of world he created for the brand new him. An immoral world.

“Who among my idiot friends had the guts to send you here in my villa?” 

He crawled out of his bed, creating distance from the strange woman who was licking his back and nape awhile ago. Without looking down, he let his feet searched for his slippers pero hindi tsinelas ang kanyang nahagip sa ilalim ng kanyang kama kundi bikini top. He winced.

Unconsciously with only a briefs on, he raised into his full length and sluggishly walked forward. Hinablot niya ang bote ng Jack Daniels sa bamboo center table at tiim–bagang na pinuno ang kopita na katabi niyon kanina.

He couldn't remember how did he get back to his villa. Lasing na lasing siya kagabi. Ang pinagkaiba lang ay hindi sila one–on–one ng alak kagabi dahil naligaw ang apat na mokong niyang mga kaibigan sa kanyang resort. Those were Ivor Innocenté, Junger Jozzwick, Unorazio and the childish slash patay–gutom named Xerxes Xeffos.

They were fratmates since their college days in Standford University. Dahil sa impluwensiya ng matalik niyang kababata na si Quirk Quillan Quaresma kung kaya’t nagpa–initiate si Hydrus na maging Alpha member din ng prestigious at unfathomable brotherhood, ang Triple Hub. 

Bukod sa solid na samahan ng brotherhood, isa rin sa pumukaw ng interes ni Hydrus ay ang pagiging active ng bawat miyembro sa kaliwa’t kanang charity program na sinusuportahan ng kapatiran base sa prinsipal na layunin nito.

“It was Ivor.”

Unflinchingly, Hydrus halfed his crystal goblet and slammed at the indigo wing chair. 

Pinisil–pisil ni Hydrus ang magkabilang sentido at naisipang sulyapan ang babaeng nakaupo sa ibabaw ng magulo niyang higaan.

She was a voluptuous, burgundy–haired, white woman with a jet black eyes. An irresistible sex doll it is.  

“Ivor? Why didn't you choke that motherfúcker’s cock instead of being here? You see, I can not fúck you!” he huffed irritatingly. 

“You better get the hell outta here!” Hindi na niya napigilang sindakin ang babae sa pamamagitan ng mabagsik na himig. 

But to his surprise, the woman only grinned fascinatingly. “The rumor about you is true then.” 

Matalim na napatitig si Hydrus sa babae. He eyed the woman questioningly.

“My girl friends’ hearsay's that you are practicing not to involve from some aspects of sexual activity daw. In short you're a person lives in celibacy, aren't you, Hydrus?”

His nose flared as he got up. “I am ordering you to enumerate your girl friends’ name in the reception desk so I will enlist their fúcking names on the block list. Cooperate or I'll put your name on it, too.”

Nagbaba ng tingin ang babae. She looked entirely guilty. Must be!

He deeply hates nosy people with a burning passion as much as he hates anything that is related to wedding. Yeah, he was being unreasonable, some people say. That fúcking failed marriage proposal not only caused him to lost his sexual appetite, but also an irrational and unbridled antipathy for wedding.

Kaya galit siya sa mundo dahil pakiramdam niya wala na siyang silbi. He didn't voluntarily choose to be a celibate, it just happened that his sexual drive got low. Isa, dalawa, maraming beses na siyang sumubok na gumalaw ng babae several months ago but he only discovered that he had a difficulties in ejaculating during intercourse.

That heartless woman did not only caused him emotional pain, she also made him impotent. Reason why he was afraid to involve himself to another woman romantically and afraid he won't satisfied her.

Madilim ang kanyang mukha na tinungo ang kanyang private saltwater pool na ilang metro lang ang distansiya mula sa kanyang villa. 

Nonchalantly, he jumped in the pool and dipped himself for several seconds to cool his effing head down. He pulled off his remaining undergarment under the saltwater for the reason that he used to swim in nude state. It's way more refreshing.

Umahon saglit ang kanyang mukha sa tubig upang punuin ng oxygen ang kanyang baga bago sumisid sa five feet swimming pool. Hydrus expertly reached the bottom and tried to hold his breath underwater at a whopping five minutes until he saw a whirlpool of mud that was slowly drowning.

Ikinumpas niya kaagad ang dalawang kamay upang lumangoy palapit sa malaking itim na bagay. 

That was when he realized that it was a woman’s unfashionably black, temple dress and not a whirlpool made of mud. 

At isa lang ang kilala niyang babae na nagkakalat sa Hydrus Haven na ganoon ang uri ng kasuotan.

The hoodoo! The hoodoo who was sheltering herself inside that old shingle–styled beach house that was secure by high security fence. See how creepy the woman is? Hindi lang isang beses na naisip ni Hydrus na baka may sira ito sa ulo. Imagine that, she's been his instant stalker and desperate admirer since day one. Creepy, right? Ni hindi nga niya ito kilala at basta na lamang nanggulo sa Hydrus Haven.

Whatever her fúcking reason how in the hell she got into his private pool, one thing is for sure. Patatalsikin na talaga niya ito sa teritoryo niya. Ahora mismo!

Sobra–sobra na ang pang–aabala nito sa kanya simula nang dumating ito sa lokalidad at inangkin ang lumang beach house na nakatirik sa property na kanyang nabili.

With all his strength, he carried the stupid woman to the coping corner of the pool. 

She must be lucky that she was still breathing. Pero ubo pa rin ito ng ubo at medyo disoriented. 

Hydrus filled his lungs before he confronted the trespasser. He remained unmoving behind her back. Binabantayan niya baka bigla na lamang itong malagutan ng pulso, madamay pa siya. He wondered why the mysterious woman became suicidal all of a sudden?

“Now tell me what are you doing in here, you hoodoo? Hindi ka lang pala lunatika, suicidal ka na rin at  teritoryo ko pa ang gagawin mong crime scene!” 

Hinahabol nito ang hininga. “Ikaw na nga ‘tong nakaabala tapos ikaw pa ang may ganang magsuplado? Excuse me, ha? Kaya ako napalusong sa swimming pool kasi akala ko magpapakamatay ka na naman pero sinusupladuhan mo na naman ako. Ang attitude! I–CPR mo nga ako, Waifu! Kahit kunwari na lang ay nalunod ako para naman makatikim ako ng bibig mo. Ano bang lasa niyan? Lasang bumihag sa puso ko? O lasang mapapangasawa ko? Patikim nga!”

“Shut up and do not move, damn it!” His forehead creased. “As if! CPR my ass! And will you stop calling me Waifu! Kinikalabutan ako saiyo.” 

“E ano naman ang itatawag ko saiyo?” she coughed again, she was still facing the east. Ganoon din siya dahil nasa likuran pa rin siya nito.

He can't move away for the reason that she might see his díck through the crystal clear saltwater.

“I am not obliged to introduce myself to you. Mark my words, I'll definitely throw you out of my property before this day ends!” Actually, he was thinking of filing a case against her for owning a piece of his property. Abala ito sa kanya.

“T–teka nga muna! Bakit ba pinipigilan mo ang likod ko? Gusto kitang harapin kasi kabastusan iyong tinatalikuran ang kausap. Puwede ba? Willing naman akong magbastusan tayo rito basta magkaharap lang tayo.”

“Hell no! Remain in your position, damn it!” he hissed. Noon lang napansin ni Hydrus na uncomfortable na pala siya sa posisyon nila.

Dahil likas na matigas ang coconut shell ng babaeng mukhang iniidolo ang get–up ni Mallificent, nagpumiglas ito at tinatangka talagang humarap. 

Napamura si Hydrus at lalong hinigpitan ang pagkakahawak sa magkabilang braso ng babae to stayed her still. Akala niya ay susuko na ito subalit nagulantang ang mundo ni Hydrus nang iniusli nito ang pang–upo backwardly and to his surprise, her butt bumped into his bare cóck!

“What the hell? You've told to remained still. Holy shit!”

His eyes widened in surprise when the accidental contact brought his manhood into life like a newly born dragon.

What was more surprising and confusing is that he got damn aroused. An undesirable woman got him aroused effortlessly. The heck?

His breath became heavy as he cleared his throat.

“What’s your name again?” Tila may kakatwang interest na umahon sa sistema ni Hydrus para sa dalaga.

“Ha? Bakit?”

“Just do tell me!” He gripped her arms impatiently.

“Sheeva Mae.” 

“Sheeva... hmmm...” His brain got clouded by carnal thoughts upon rolling her name out of his mouth. 

He must be insane! Hindi isang kaanak ni Valak ang magpapanumbalik sa matayog niyang sexual drive. Lasing pa rin siguro siya. It was just unacceptable.

“Yes, Waifu! It's me, Sheeva Mae Corporal. Isaulo mo ang pangalan ng babae na makakasama mo sa marriage certificate mo. Ito ang babaeng ipagdadamot ka sa mundo, Hydrus Horizon Hugo, my one and only Waifu. I am always be your Sheeva Mae, ang babaeng luluhod, titihiya at saiyo ay araw–gabing dadapa at boy walang daplis.”
