Tycelyn's POV

Grandpa had declined to go to my house, so only I and Doreen went to my house. The moment I opened the door, Kenzal hugged me.

“Tycelyn, I have missed you,” Kenzal kissed my cheeks and it made me blush.

“I'm here,” Doreen cleared her throat and I hurriedly pushed Kenzal away from me.

“I have a guest,” I said suddenly remembering someone was with me.

“I'm sorry, I didn't see you there,” Kenzal waved awkwardly at Doreen before he did a little run to his room.

I and Doreen sat in the living room and shortly after we were served drinks by the worker.

“I'm sure you know why I brought you here,” Doreen shook her head, “I want to give you a chance to tell me everything before anyone does.”

“Thank you for trusting me,” Doreen smiled and she held my hand.

I pulled my hands away from hers and hurt flashed through her eyes, “I don't trust you, I just want to know the truth.”
