EVE'S POV After Dickson asked, more like ordered me to leave his office, I went back to my department and trudged to my desk in low spirits. I was worried that I might have offended him. My earlier confidence to set things straight was gone. In the aftermath, I felt that I had been too brazen, and that I never should have allowed my fears to take charge. He must have found it so inappropriate of me to ask him such a question. Just because he showed concern and acted promptly whenever I faced an obstacle, didn't mean he had intentions similar to my former department director. EVE'S POV Over the weekend, i spent most of my time working on the final draft for the Wheatstone's Project design. After my draft had been re-adopted, I had needed to prepare a more detailed plan that was to be used for the project. I had barely rested at all over the weekend as I pushed myself to make it perfect.
