Chapter 24: Making peace

Padgett's POV

"Get in please!" He said with pleading eyes, I walked reluctantly towards his car before entering the car, I shut the door beside me, and he started the car engine and drove off. The ride was the most awkward one, I have ever had with him, the first time I arrived here, it wasn't this awkward, I kept fighting with my bag and biting my nails nervously, and neither of us said a word to each other as he concentrated on the road till my house was in sight. I sighed badly because I would have to leave him soon and to think that we didn't make up and both of us were extremely mad at each other and yet neither of us was willing to make the first move to speak to the other.
