Chapter 05

"You must be hungry ", She said.

" I am fine, Sky. Thanks for asking ", I said to her and get up from the bed.

She grabbed my arm and made me sit again on the bed. I was dazed by her sudden pull.

" I know you are hungry. I heard your stomach growling from the moment you entered this room", she said with a smirk. 

"Can't this stomach kept its mouth shut for a moment?" My subconscious said.

I was feeling a bit flushed.

"Yeah ", I said with a nervous chuckle.

" I am also hungry. Let's eat something", she said while rubbing her stomach.

This girl and her antics were something.

"That's sound great ", I agree with her.

I was more hungry than her.

She gets and wore her slippers in hurry and ran to her wardrobe. She took out some money and ran towards the door.

I looked at her in confusion. Why she was leaving me behind? I also want to eat something.

" Hey, where are you going?", I asked her. She stopped in her tracks.

She turned towards me standing at the door.

"You just wait here. I will be back in a moment. I don't want to eat the mess food on the very first day here. I will get something tasty to eat from outside ", she said in one go and ran out of the room.

" Come soon ", I muttered to her disappearing figure.

I decided to fresh before she came back. I opened my luggage and took out a towel, a toothbrush and a body wash with a pair of nightwear for wearing after the shower.

I went to the bathroom and took a quite relaxing shower to calm my aching muscles.

I changed into the nightwear and came out.

Sky was yet not back. She was taking more than enough time. My stomach was growling continuously.

My luggage bag was kept aside openly. I decided to set my stuff inside the wardrobe till Sky came back. As soon as I picked my t-shirt from my bag the door busted open revealing a panting Sky.

She was holding a bag in her hand. It must be our dinner. 

" You get late ", I asked her.

She came inside and threw herself on the bed after placing the bag aside. 

" Yeah, The warden isn't allowing me to go outside the dorm. I convinced her somehow,, but she asked me to come back in time. When I reached the Pizza Hut it was crowded. It took more than the necessary time for my order to be packed. Only God knows how fast I came back to the dorm before that annoying warden punished me for breaking her so-called rules ", she said irritatingly and tucked her head beneath a pillow.

" You bought pizza for dinner ?", I exclaimed.

"Yeah, I hope that's fine with you ", she said in a tiring voice. Still, her head was beneath the pillow.

" It's more than fine ", I said excitingly.

I was really happy when I heard about pizza. It was a long since I have eaten pizza. My mom scolded me whenever I asked. She said you will get fat.

Like seriously!

Everyone eats fast food.

I ran towards Sky and moved the pillow from her head. I grabbed her in one arm and pulled her out from the bed.

" Get up, Sky. I am starving. I can't want any more ", I said to her in a pleading voice.

She gets up and looked at me with her half sleepy eyes," Yeah, let's eat ", she said in a sleepy voice.

No, She can't sleep until We have our pizza.

" Go and fresh yourself. You will feel good ", I said and pushed her inside the washroom.

A moment later she came outside with a bright smile on her face.

Thank God! Sleepy Sky was gone and Crazy Sky back.

" What are you waiting for, baby girl? Let's dig ", she said loudly and took out pizza from the bag.

I sat beside her. There were 2 boxes of pizza and some cold drinks. We both dug and consume the pizza like a starved animal for ages.

I moaned when I took the first bite of pizza in my mouth. It tastes like heaven. We satisfied our stomach and lay down on the floor.

We were feeling exhausted.

" Thanks, Sky, for this amazing meal ", I said to her genuinely.

" Don't be so formal, baby girl", she said with a loud burp. She must eat a lot like me.

"Tomorrow, I will buy you a meal in the college canteen ", I said.

" I am always ready for a free meal ", she said with a laugh.

I also laughed at her talks.

I get up and gathered the boxes of pizza and empty bottles of cold drink. I dumped them in the dust bin.

Sky was still lying on the floor.

" Get up and sleep on the bed, Sky. You might catch a cold because of this cold floor", I said to her with concern.

She just hummed in response in a sleepy voice and lay down on the bed. I started to set my wardrobe again which was left earlier.

"You want my help?", Sky said from the bed.

" No, It's completely fine. Go to sleep. I will finish it in a moment", I said to her while folding my clothes.

"Okay. Goodnight, baby girl ", she said and drifted to sleep.

I set my clothes inside the wardrobe neatly. I was having some other necessities with myself which I kept in their place. 

I took my phone and put it on the charging side of my bed. I cleaned the mess I created. 

I was ready to sleep now. I covered Sky in a blanket and slept on my bed.

I never thought that I would get admitted to this prestigious university. The first day was really of hurdles for me. I had to deal with those two jerks, Damien and Dominic. But at last I found a good friend like Sky for myself.
