ABIGEAL“ARE YOU okay?” Blaine asked, skating a hand down my arm. He had finally managed to detangle himself from Marissa's clutches and was now hovering over me. He lifted my arms to inspect the scratches and I barely refrained from yanking it out of his grasp and instead removed it gently. “I'm fine.”He frowned. “You're scratched all over. ABIGEALMY SENSES came back to me in bits and pieces. First my toes twitched, then I could hear the hissing of smoke from the engine and smell the metallic scent of blood.
