Taylor ran into the cocoon prison where his sister was trapped and asked, “What the hell have they done you?”
“Good to see you too, doofus,” Elisa responded. “Looks like you found your trident.”
“Yeah. Speaking of which, don’t move,” Taylor instructed.
“Like I have a choice, genius,” Eliza sassed him as he summoned his trident.
Taylor charged up Barracuda and sparks of tremendous lightning gathered around it. After three slashes to the cocoon, Taylor freed his sister and caught her as she fell.
Taylor passionately hugged Eliza and John joined the family hug.
Eliza laughed and said, “Miss me much?”
John finished telling Bonnie and Eliza the details of the great storm years ago in Pierview. “I can’t believe it,” Eliza said. “We have to tell Taylor about this immediately!” “That might have to wait,” Bonnie said as the laser beams over the door retracted. Three Kaiju crept in and cornered John, Bonnie, and Eliza. “Any ideas on how to get out of this would be accepted, John,” Eliza said. The creatures slowly slunk closer and closer to the prisoners. A cloud of dark purple electricity blindsided them. Suddenly, the creatures clutched their heads in pure agony. “What’s going on?” Bonnie asked and looked around. “I’m not quite sure,” John said. “But the beams are still down and we can escape.” John and the two girls ran past the Kaiju as they struggled to fight back the mysterious presence that pounded their minds. As they turned to another hallway, a large crash by one of the Kaiju that had attacked them previously cut off thei
The new monsters roared with terror and shook the hollow caves of the terminal. The horrific sight of his brothers and sisters in arms tore a hole deep in John’s heart. “Try not to be too sad about this, dear Captain,” Soundhound said. “This dull, empty town is going to be the first of many cities to add some type of value to their pathetic existence. Granted, they won’t be nearly as glamorous as the real deal, but this pathetic species you call humanity will have a taste of what it means to be significant.” “This isn’t over,” Taylor threatened while struggling to escape Soundhound’s hold. “You’re quite right, Mr. Yoshida. This is not over. My employer will still need to siphon enough energy from you before I can give your proper closing. But as for the pesky humans, what do you say we keep them in a
Eliza ran to the rubble pile that had cut her off from John to dig him out. Eliza sobbed and dug out the debris from the cave in as she repeated to herself, “He can’t be dead, he can’t be dead.” “Eliza, we have to go,” Bonnie tried to reason. “I already lost my mom, I can’t lose John too,” Eliza explained and rolled more rocks from the blockage. Bonnie grabbed Eliza’s arm to pull her away from the wreckage and argued, “Eliza, please. We need to go --” Eliza shook off Bonnie’s hand then body-slammed her onto the ground and wrapped her fingers around Bonnie’s neck and squeezed. “This is your fault!” Eliza shouted. “This is all your fault!” “Eliza, please stop,” Bonnie begged and fought to pry Eliza’s fingers from her neck. “Taylor trusted you. We trusted you. You pretended to be his friend. You pretended to care,” Eliza ranted as tears rolled down her cheeks and landed on Bonnie’s face. “I do care about Taylor,” Bonnie ba
“You must take me back,” Taylor reached out to Soundhound to convince the guitarist to take him home. “You have to --” Soundhound took out Vendetta and swung it at Taylor. Taylor barely avoided it. “What are you doing?” Taylor said. “My apologies, dear boy, but now that Mason Black is in play, I need your trident more than ever,” Soundhound explained with regret before he swung Vendetta against Taylor’s trident. Taylor deflected the attack and argued, “You gave me your word that you wouldn’t fight me here.” “Given the circumstances, I’m afraid I must break that arrangement.” “Why? Even if Mason Black is alive, we could find the other champions and take him out together!” “You’ve been sheltered for too long,” Soundhound replied. “For all I know, the other champions could be as weak and gullible as you. I’m not willing to take that chance and have the rest of you slow me down. I’ll have to kill all the champions and take Zerpla’s
The teenagers were teleported to the heart of the town. They saw the gargantuan creature made up of the six scientists from Project Echidna rampage across Pierview with no sign of stopping. They heard screams from townspeople as they mutated into smaller Kaiju after they were exposed to the disturbing radiation surrounding the Kraken. “ I can’t believe this is happening,” Taylor said. “I know it’s hard to see, Taylor, but we will find a way to stop this,” Eliza promised. “It’s not that. I just can’t believe the irony of all this,” Taylor answered. “What do you mean?” Bonnie asked. “My whole life I’ve had to hide that I was a Kaiju. Now, the very same people who I hid from are mutating into the same creature that I am. Well, almost the same.” “What are you saying, Taylor?” Eliza said. “Everyone knows that Kaiju exist now. Even if I can save the town, would it even be safe for anyone to live here anymore?” Three Kaiju lan
The tension from the young champion’s struggle against the gigantic Kaiju poisoned the luminous skies of Pierview. Bonnie and Eliza helplessly watched from afar as Taylor was pushed to the brink of defeat. “Your camera,” Eliza said to Bonnie. “What?” Bonnie asked, confused. “Take the shot. Use that thing to blast the Kraken away,” she directed. Bonnie pointed it at the Kraken, hoping to help Taylor escape its wrath. She clicked on the button, but the camera released no combustion. “Dead,” Bonnie said as she shook the camera. “What do you mean dead?” “This thing uses ultraviolet batteries and the ones in it now are all tapped out,” Bonnie explained. “Put in new batteries,” Eliza demanded. “I can’t do that. All the other batteries are at a Dad’s house, which is five miles from here.” “There must be some way we can help him,” Eliza said. “It’s too dangerous to get close to that Kraken,” Bonnie argue
Taylor ran at the towering Kraken as it emitted another devastating blast at him. Taylor instinctively teleported directly next to the creature and ran across its body. He reached the monster’s head. The Kraken swiped his claw at Taylor, but Taylor teleported consecutively to avoid its strikes. Taylor plunged at the Kraken’s neck and used the mutated artifacts to slash it. When the creature covered its neck, Taylor climbed on its back to find the transmitter that merged the six scientists to become the Kraken. The young champion ran across the creature’s back, aiming for the transmitter lodged in its lower spine. The creature twisted and swung Taylor off its back. Taylor got his bearings then readied to teleport for the transmitter again. As Taylor prepared his attack against the Kraken, the flying Kaiju flew in to distract the Kraken and breathed silver flames across the Kraken’s face, blinding it. Taylor’s eyes began to glow with a large surge of electricity and re
