Being lost
"Wait. You mean he knew about us?" Alex said surprisingly.
"I think so." Leo said, staring blankly at the floor, contemplating the events that happened today.
"You mean he recognized us?" Adi asked.
"Mhm" Leo nodded.
"The Dark Lord recognized us but he still didn't kill us when he had the best opportunity.'' Vivi wondered.
"I wonder that either." Leo muttered.
Coming back to their place, after a long awfully silent journey, Adi asked Leo about his strange behavior in the castle. Leo narrated to them about his uneasy feeling of being watched.
"I felt some intense gaze, like, we were being watched after the Dark Lord went back. That was making it hard to breathe and blurred my mind. Wasn't able to figure out the source of that intense gaze, but I am sure that there was someone who was keeping an eye on us." Leo sighed and continued, "He knows who we are." He said quietly which caught everyone's attention.

In the middle of the dry, wood land, there was a small hut. It was surrounded by greenery. The grass was soft, flowers beamed in the sunlight, little butterflies flew from one flower to another being their messenger. Bees buzz attracted to the rainbow of flowers.The place was a meadow. One can assume it to be a mirage in the desert. It was strange how the whole village was a barren land including the forest, but this place was woody heaven.A woman came out of her hut and moved towards the barren area next to the grassy land.
