Ansel takes a deep breath before he answers "Well, my pack was very different when I was young, we mostly kept to ourselves. My grandfather HATED witches, so it was against pack law to work with one, they were not allowed on pack lands, if caught they were put to death. Other than that, we were very much like you, or at least, like what I have seen of your pack so far. We have a large mansion that was built in the 1950's where the ranked members live and work. We house the newly paired in what humans would call a guest house. It is basically 9 one bedroom apartments, once the newness wears off, we move them to either the pack house, or one of the 3 apartment buildings on pack lands. We also own 2 other apartment buildings which we rent out to humans as a source of pack income..." He stops taking when he hears the front door open.
