Agatha POV

I sat on the sofa while holding my chest, fortunately Ethan didn't stiffen anymore and left. I didn’t know he was going to be here now and I wouldn’t be surprised how he found out where I lived because I knew he has a lot of connections.

Soon my phone rang and I saw it was Macrus calling so I answered it immediately.

"Why?" I asked him.

“Where are you?”

"In the condo, why?" I answered him.

"Can you open the door? I've been knocking for how many times already."

I was surprised because I didn't even hear him knocking. "Okay, wait a minute.'' and I dropped his call.

When I opened the door, the irritated face of my boss appeared on me.

"Are you that deaf that you haven't heard that I’ve been calling your name? I thought no one was here."

"I'm in the room so I didn't hear you" I said.

"Whatever.”

"Why are you here?" I asked him.

He raised an eyebrow at me. "I didn't know that I am not allowed to visit you here."

"I didn't say that. I’m just asking, you know.” I said and laughed
