Chapter 40

Agatha POV

I woke up because of the sunlight hitting my face. I didn't close the window when I went to sleep last night. It's been a year since I left and moved away to avoid Ethan.

When I told Marcus about my plan on living temporarily he didn't agree at first, he told me that I was the one who pushed Ethan away so why would I leave but I explained to him why because I don't want to hurt him anymore when our paths cross.

And because he knew that my decision was already final so he approved it, I promised to him that I would continue to work with them and I would still remain the architect and designer of the company because I did not want to violate the contract.

Over the past year I haven’t had any news of Ethan and my friend, I really meant to sever my connection with them because if I didn’t do that thing I would just feel guilty. Only Marcus and Eli could talk to me.

And since it was noon, I got up from bed and went to the dining table. “Finally you are awake. Come and let's eat.
