Chapter 2

Agatha POV

The next day we woke up almost at the same time so we are here at the table to eat. The amount of food prepared by Uncle and others is different and everything is very delicious.

"How's your favorite food, Agatha? Your Uncle bought it when he found out it's your favorite." mama asked.

"It's so much tastier than what I’m always buying Ma. Thank you Uncle." I smiled.

We ate together with my mom, uncle and his oldest son except for his youngest son who didn't eat with us, in fact last night I noticed his sharp stares at me and I knew immediately that he didn't like me.

"Good to hear that Agatha, how’s your sleep? Do you want to change something in your room? You can tell me." Kuya Luke asked, he is the oldest son of Hernandez.

I smiled at him. "I sleep well and in my room I won't change anything because everything is almost perfect." I answered him.

"It's good then, let me go with you next time to buy the decorations you want to add to your room." Kuya Luke said.

"And Agatha don't mind about my younger son; he might not be used to having someone new with us here at home." uncle said.

I looked at mama and it was obvious on her face that she was happy now, it looked like they loved each other and I was also happy but I didn't want to be complacent because maybe it was just the beginning.

When I finished eating I got up. "Mama, Uncle and Kuya Luke, maybe I won't be able to help put away these things on the table because I need to go to school because I still have things to do, you know I'm graduating." I promise.

"You don't need to worry about it Agatha and our maids will take care of it, get ready and the driver will take you to your school." said Uncle.

"Thank you very much Uncle." I replied.

"No need for the driver Dad, I'll just drive Agatha to her school." Luke said.

"Don't bother brother, it's embarrassing for you and another thing is that we're not the same way, you'll be late for your work." I refused. I know he's already working so I don't want to bother him anymore.

"It's okay, it's still early so I can still take you." his urgency.

And because he didn't seem to want to procrastinate so I just nodded and said goodbye first to get my things to my room.

While I was in my room adjusting my uniform, there was a knock. So I walked to the door to open it because it might be Luke, but I was surprised that Ethan's face opened up to me.

I just looked at him even though the truth was I was nervous, he was handsome up close. I know it's wrong to feel like this because first I have a boyfriend and second he will be my stepbrother once our parents get married but I think it’s not a sin to admire him. But I can say that he and Luke are far away because that one is kind while the one in front of me looks rude.

"Ahm, brother do you need anything? I asked.

I was shocked when he violently leaned me against the wall. His face was dark and his gaze was sharp on me.

"W-what are you doing? L-let me go." I asked nervously.

"Why are you here? What do you need from us? Isn't it enough that only your mom should be here at home because Dad and her are getting married but why are you with us too?" he asked emphatically.

"I'm here because that's what your Dad wants and I'm doing this for my mom. I know she's happy with Uncle so I support her." I answered quickly.

"Liar!" he shouts at me. "I know what's on the minds of people like you. I'm telling you Agatha never to do anything that will tarnish my family's name because I won't hesitate to kill you." he seriously warned.

"L-let me go! Stop thinking about such things because I don't have that in mind. I don't want to live here but I can't refuse them both because that's what they want. If you want to be sure you can order your bodyguards to follow me so you can find out everything you want to know. "I said.

I couldn't help but look into his eyes, I could see different emotions there but only more anger. I want to cry but I don't want to be weak in front of him. I need to show that I have no bad intentions against his family.

He later violently released me. "It's good that we're getting along, my family is important to me, especially Dad, remember this if I find out that you're planning something with my family I'm the one you can fight against. You don't know what I can do and also you must be careful of Luke. " he said and turned away from me.

Only then did I breathe a sigh of relief that he could get away from me, I don't know why he thinks like that about me even though I'm not doing anything wrong. And one more thing, in fact, Luke is even kinder and more approachable than him.

I just grabbed my bag when my phone suddenly rang. I saw on the screen that my boyfriend was calling. I can't help but smile that we've been in a relationship for almost three years and I can say that I'm lucky because he loved me even though there were many girls who liked him in our school, because he was famous and also capable of life.

"Are you in school now?" he asked after I answered.

"Not yet but I'm leaving the house now." I answered.

"I was planning to pick you up so I called you."

"Don't pick me up because I'm on my way already." I immediately said because he still didn’t know we are not living in our apartment anymore.

"Oh okay, I'll see you in school.I love you"

"See you, take care. I love you too." I answered and then dropped the call.

Later I saw Kuya Luke at my bedroom door. "Are you done already? We're leaving." he said.

I nodded and followed him down, I can't really forget why Ethan was saying that things to me.

I was quiet throughout our trip, all I knew was that Luke was working for one of their companies while Ethan was studying but he was also undergoing training in the company. The truth is that he is also a graduate but he studied again in the course he wanted because the first thing he finished was what his parents wanted.

Our trip didn't take long either and we got to the opposite side of my school. I immediately said goodbye to Luke because I didn't want some students to see Luke and think something about it, but before I could get down, Luke told me to wait for him later because he would pick me up and we would go home together.

FASTFORWARD

The hours passed quickly and my class ended immediately, I almost forgot what Kuya Luke had told me earlier. Fortunately, I haven't boarded the bus yet. I almost went for a walk because he might have been waiting in the parking lot for a while and that was embarrassing.

When I was in the parking lot I saw a red car, I can't be wrong knowing it wasn't Luke's car if it was Ethan's. What is he doing here?

I first looked around to make sure no eyes were looking at me because I really didn’t want to be talked about especially when they recognized who was here.

I slowly walked to the red car and saw Ethan get off it.

"E-ethan? What are you doing here?" I asked him.
