Chapter 26. Sierra Madre, LA

"Stop, stop! What do you mean, you're in Sierra Madre? Who are you?" Shada was impatient.

Shada's head throbbed. She hit it in frustration. Demian immediately stopped the beautiful woman's hand movement.

"That's it, Shada. We can talk slowly." Demian said softly.

Shada studied Demian's face. Her brown eyes explored him from head to toe, trying to remember some of the people in her childhood memories.

"Explain it to me then." Shada pleaded with resignation. She had yet to find anyone who resembled the Demian who was now in front of her.

Meanwhile, Demian was silent. He seemed to be pondering while casting a skeptical look at Shada.

"What do you remember back in Sierra Madre?" Demian asked finally. His expression looked desperate.

Shada wrinkled her forehead. She shook her head uncertainly, but then mentioned one by one the memories that she thought ended not so pleasantly. Her eyes began to tear up.
