CHAPTER 40

Carly's POV

I couldn't help but giggle as Luca and I pulled away from each other, our lips swollen from the intense makeout session. We were hiding in my room, trying to keep our budding relationship a secret from the rest of the pack.

But as we caught our breath, I heard the unmistakable sound of shattering glass. My heart sank as I realized we had accidentally knocked over a vase, and it had fallen to the floor.

"Oops," Luca whispered, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

I rolled my eyes, trying to stifle a laugh. "Great, just what we need. Emma's going to kill us."
