Lessia's POV:

I had an appointment at the hospital. The doctor was to do some antenatal check ups on me. She took my blood sample, a urine sample, my weight, measured everything that was measurable. I laid down on the bed waiting for results and watched the ceiling fan above my whirl around, creating coolness in the room.

I hated being in hospitals because they usually had the smell of blood and sometimes death. Maybe it was because a couple of loved ones I had all died in the hospital.

Each time I went to a hospital, I had this nostalgic feeling, and I always wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The only reason I endured coming here was because of my baby. I needed to ensure it was healthy, and to do that, I had to get used to going to the hospital. Kian often accompanied me, but he was busy, so I had to go alone.
