Xander's POV

"Alpha, the previous enemies have surrounded the packhouse. It's too dangerous to rush there now."

I had just given the order when Terry immediately stopped me. Fresh blood covered his body, staining his white uniform a deep red, but there was no doubt that the blood came from the Rogue who attacked us earlier.

As the Beta of the pack, Terry's strength was unquestionable, but this situation was much grimmer than we had faced before.

"They obviously planned this attack in detail, timing it perfectly to exploit your weakness and..."
