''All I had ever cared about was my promise which I had given to you, 5 years ago and last night, I fulfilled it completely….''

"The promise to torment your innocence, mi nena and I fulfilled it finally,"

Those words of his continued to repeat in her head without any halt, making sure to numb each and every sense in her. Her feet continued to make their way somewhere, after getting out of his room. She herself didn't know where she was heading now because now she was not even in a state to understand where she was even putting her feet.

"Accept it as my goodbye, mi nena and never forget it that sinners might get forgiven but their sins are not,"

She walked past her room while his words repeatedly hit her like a sharp dagger which was getting pierced deeper inside her soul, wounding it with no mercy.

"Do not show yourself to me again till I don't leave for forever and you can give it to me as a payment for taking care of you for these past couple of weeks…."

The broken bracelet indicates that she won't need it anymore because hopefully she'll retrieve her voice!!!! And looking at him one last time means she'll probably suffer from amnesia, but I'm wondering if she's pregnant!!! I'm relieved that there's a hope that she'll stay alive!!!

Stepping inside that door, Zian closed it slowly. A cold dread hit his entire body, making him shudder. Nothing could be heard inside that room except the sound of the machines beeping. His eyes straight trailed towards that bed where she was laying. Zian had stopped being afraid of anything from the day he learnt to protect himself, from his father and grandfather who started training him when he was just a mere child and those 5 years, which he had survived all alone away from his home and parents, that loneliness turned him more fearless and vicious. He had made that thought in his head that nothing could scare him anymore because for being scared, he needed to have something which he would become afraid to lose but he had nothing to lose, so he had no need to be afraid of anyone or anything but currently, he was feeling terrified. His body was trembling in fear with just that thought of watching her laying there on that bed like a lifeless body. He was scared to his bones of witne

He had never tried to understand this relevant thing: how could that person hurt him who had saved his mother's life by putting her own self in danger? He never tried to comprehend this ever.Tears aggressively rolled down from Zia's eyes as she looked at her son. She just couldn't believe her child could turn so brutal and barbaric that he would push an innocent life on the edge of dying, especially that soul who had saved his mother's life."How could you turn so blind and ignorant, Zian, that you couldn't even see the things she has done for us and our family?" Zia raised her voice at him. Grabbing his shoulders, she tried yanking them."She had saved your mother's life by putting her own at stake. She could have died in that accident but she still chose to save me. That 15 year old girl

Damien broke their hug and looked at his wife. Her tears were continuously dripping from her eyes. Cupping her face with his one hand, Damien wiped her cheeks and uttered."Our Kaya made it, mi vida. She is our fighter,"Zia nodded her head while tears of happiness remained in her eyes whereas a smile formed on her face. Damien beamed back. It was like they both had gotten back their own lives after knowing she was fine, just like their son, who had never thanked his fate for anything. He had never been grateful for any good thing he had received or had gotten bestowed with until today. Today, he was grateful to his fate that it had bestowed him with her life. Zian was thanking his fate for listening to his pleas and begging for her and her life."Miss Haiden is ready to meet," the nurse uttered, opening the door and peeking her head through it. Everyone looked at her."You can see her now," Damien and Zia wagged their heads at her. They were desperate to see her finally. Damien was

"Can we take her home now?""Yes, Mr Karlson. Miss Haiden is completely fine now, so we can discharge her now," the doctor answered, removing his stethoscope. It had been more than two weeks, she was hospitalised and now her condition had turned better, so the doctors allowed her to get discharged from the hospital."I will prepare the discharge papers," Damien nodded at the doctor, hearing him. After that, the doctor left from there. Turning his head, he looked at Zia and Kaya. They both looked extremely happy after hearing from the doctor. It made Damien smile. He walked towards them and tenderly caressed Kaya's cheek who was sitting on the bed. Kaya beamed back at her uncle Damien."So ready to go back home, muffin?" He asked her to which she immediately nodded while smiling widely but then Damien saw her smile dimming for a split second but she immediately recovered from it and continued to beam but now her smile felt forced. He wondered why her happiness faded so suddenly. She s

As soon as everyone left, except Leo, Zian exhaled a sharp breath and then turned around to leave until"Why did you do it to her?" Leo's voice seethed out, stopping his feet from proceeding further. Zian twirled around and found Leo scowling at him with his dispising gaze. His hatred for his doings was evident in his eyes and it made Zian aware of the thing that Leo knew about everything, but this time, it didn't enrage him that she told Leo everything because he believed, not just only Leo, she should have told about the truth to his father too, but like an innocent soul, she protected him once again and it drowned him into that deep and cavernous pool of guilt more cruelly.Leo strode towards Zian. Standing in front of him, he glared at Zian but his eyes remained deprived of every kind of emotion."I don't know whether to call you lucky that you get blessed to get loved by someone like her or to call you unfortunate that you pushed that love away from you with your own hands," Tho

Zia shrugged her shoulders and shook her head."N…no nothing," she lied because she was terrified to tell him the truth yet. She knew she should have told Damien everything but Zia didn't have that courage to face its consequences. After all, no matter what, all those lives which were involved in it, they all were equally important to her. Besides, she herself didn't know the entire truth yet, that what exactly had happened between Zian and Kaya in those couple of weeks Damien sent Zia a dubious gaze."You didn't seem happy after knowing about this when you had always wanted them to be together, Zia," He asked. Zia gulped as she was already aware of her husband's sharp and smart head. It would practically become impossible to hide something from him if

His family was finally going to get completed. He was just hoping for his son's acceptance because Damien knew, somehow he was the reason behind his son having to suffer so much. He knew he couldn't become a good father because throughout his life, he focused on making his son a good person but he forgot that he needed to embrace his child's bad too. The sound of the door bell ringing gained the couple's attention. Damien saw his wife's eyes tinkling with happiness. He chuckled.

She couldn't just believe she was about to lose him, just because of her ignorance and lack of awareness. He was suffering so much from the very beginning but here she was considering herself a victim. But her pain was nothing as compared to his because she was able to share it with the people around her but he was not even capable of telling about his pain to his own self, let alone sharing it with someone else."Zian, why did you leave home? You didn't get hurt somewhere, right? Please tell me," she cupped his face and asked him. Zian knew you didn't deserve to be with someone like him who didn't even have control over his own emotions. He had told me that he has even tried to hurt you physically in his anger," her dried up eyes again glossed. She remembered that he had hurted her physically a lot of times, like grabbing her neck and wrist painfully. He had even hurted her badly that night when they both got intimate for the second time in his friend's resort. She had even seen his deadly possession everytime he had caught her with Leo. All those were the clear signals which she never tried to understand."After realising his feelings for you, he decided to let you go because he knew he would end up tainting you both mentally a

"Zian told me to come here so that I could take you back home," Her body stiffened, along with her heart, hearing her grandpa Zale. So that's why he has told him to come here? So that he could send her away. But isn't this what she was wanting? She had asked him this morning to take her back home then why was it not making her happy anymore? He was finally doing something right. He was rectifying his mistake then why was it bringing so much restlessness and pain to her? Was he right? Is her love so selfish? Zale silently watched that enormous amount of pain flashing in her eyes after he revealed that thing to her. Zian had called him today and told him to come here as soon as possible and took Kaya away from here. He asked him why suddenly and the answer he gave him was … "He told me you have asked him for something for the first time in his life, so he could never dare decline it," Zale uttered. Her eyes filled with tears when she noticed his entire presence turning emotionless. His grip automatically started loosening around her hands but she held them firmly."You know this is wrong. What you have done is wrong. We can't live our life like this," she tried to make him understand because after last night, Kaya understood the more she would fight with him the more insane his madness was going to be, so she decided to deal with him calmly and with no facade of anger."We would never be able to live our life happily by running away from our past. We have to face it, so please take me back home, please…" a tear slipped down from her eyes as she begged him. He didn't answer but co

His behaviour, his actions, something was wrong with him but what? They both peered into each other's eyes. Zian saw those questions emerging in her eyes which made him leave her arm.
