Zia's eyes automatically widened, hearing her husband. She looked at him, startled which made Damien arch his eyebrows in confusion.

"What happened?" He asked, bewildered. Zia shrugged her shoulders and shook her head.

"N…no nothing," she lied because she was terrified to tell him the truth yet. She knew she should have told Damien everything but Zia didn't have that courage to face its consequences. After all, no matter what, all those lives which were involved in it, they all were equally important to her. Besides, she herself didn't know the entire truth yet, that what exactly had happened between Zian and Kaya in those couple of weeks

Damien sent Zia a dubious gaze.

"You didn't seem happy after knowing about this when you had always wanted them to be together, Zia," He asked. Zia gulped as she was already aware of her husband's sharp and smart head. It would practically become impossible to hide something from him if
