The Only Man

"I and Kaya love each other. We want to get married as soon as possible," A complete silence prevailed in that hall after Leo uttered those words. Zia's eyes widened in shock whereas Damien looked at Leo a bit startled.

As soon as those words escaped from Leo's mouth, Kaya's eyes snapped towards Zian's direction. Her breathing hitched, witnessing him glaring hard at Leo. His nostrils were flared whereas his jaw was tightly set. It felt like he was on the edge of murdering Leo at any second. Her heart started flapping inside her chest. Pure terror washed over her which made her tightly squeeze Leo's thigh under the table.

Enduring that silence, Leo sighed and decided to break that silence.

"I know this is sudden but Kaya and I have decided to take this step in our life,"

Damien got up on his feet, followed by everyone else. Kaya lowered her head in terror. She was just hoping that Zian would not create any scene here but as soon as her eyes fell on his clenched fists, her eyes wide
