"Do you think that a girl who saved that person's life who has given birth to you, that person could harm you in any way, Zian Karlson?"

Zian froze at his place, hearing those words of his mother. He had never tried to understand this relevant thing: how could that person hurt him who had saved his mother's life by putting her own self in danger? He never tried to comprehend this ever.

Tears aggressively rolled down from Zia's eyes as she looked at her son. She just couldn't believe her child could turn so brutal and barbaric that he would push an innocent life on the edge of dying, especially that soul who had saved his mother's life.

"How could you turn so blind and ignorant, Zian, that you couldn't even see the things she has done for us and our family?" Zia raised her voice at him. Grabbing his shoulders, she tried yanking them.

"She had saved your mother's life by putting her own at stake. She could have died in that accident but she still chose to save me. That 15 year old girl

Damien broke their hug and looked at his wife. Her tears were continuously dripping from her eyes. Cupping her face with his one hand, Damien wiped her cheeks and uttered."Our Kaya made it, mi vida. She is our fighter,"Zia nodded her head while tears of happiness remained in her eyes whereas a smile formed on her face. Damien beamed back. It was like they both had gotten back their own lives after knowing she was fine, just like their son, who had never thanked his fate for anything. He had never been grateful for any good thing he had received or had gotten bestowed with until today. Today, he was grateful to his fate that it had bestowed him with her life. Zian was thanking his fate for listening to his pleas and begging for her and her life."Miss Haiden is ready to meet," the nurse uttered, opening the door and peeking her head through it. Everyone looked at her."You can see her now," Damien and Zia wagged their heads at her. They were desperate to see her finally. Damien was

"Can we take her home now?""Yes, Mr Karlson. Miss Haiden is completely fine now, so we can discharge her now," the doctor answered, removing his stethoscope. It had been more than two weeks, she was hospitalised and now her condition had turned better, so the doctors allowed her to get discharged from the hospital."I will prepare the discharge papers," Damien nodded at the doctor, hearing him. After that, the doctor left from there. Turning his head, he looked at Zia and Kaya. They both looked extremely happy after hearing from the doctor. It made Damien smile. He walked towards them and tenderly caressed Kaya's cheek who was sitting on the bed. Kaya beamed back at her uncle Damien."So ready to go back home, muffin?" He asked her to which she immediately nodded while smiling widely but then Damien saw her smile dimming for a split second but she immediately recovered from it and continued to beam but now her smile felt forced. He wondered why her happiness faded so suddenly. She s

As soon as everyone left, except Leo, Zian exhaled a sharp breath and then turned around to leave until"Why did you do it to her?" Leo's voice seethed out, stopping his feet from proceeding further. Zian twirled around and found Leo scowling at him with his dispising gaze. His hatred for his doings was evident in his eyes and it made Zian aware of the thing that Leo knew about everything, but this time, it didn't enrage him that she told Leo everything because he believed, not just only Leo, she should have told about the truth to his father too, but like an innocent soul, she protected him once again and it drowned him into that deep and cavernous pool of guilt more cruelly.Leo strode towards Zian. Standing in front of him, he glared at Zian but his eyes remained deprived of every kind of emotion."I don't know whether to call you lucky that you get blessed to get loved by someone like her or to call you unfortunate that you pushed that love away from you with your own hands," Tho

"Leo would be the best and perfect life partner for our Kaya,"Zia's eyes automatically widened, hearing her husband. She looked at him, startled which made Damien arch his eyebrows in confusion."What happened?" He asked, bewildered. Zia shrugged her shoulders and shook her head."N…no nothing," she lied because she was terrified to tell him the truth yet. She knew she should have told Damien everything but Zia didn't have that courage to face its consequences. After all, no matter what, all those lives which were involved in it, they all were equally important to her. Besides, she herself didn't know the entire truth yet, that what exactly had happened between Zian and Kaya in those couple of weeks Damien sent Zia a dubious gaze."You didn't seem happy after knowing about this when you had always wanted them to be together, Zia," He asked. Zia gulped as she was already aware of her husband's sharp and smart head. It would practically become impossible to hide something from him if

Every nerve in her body flamed up in rage whereas her already broken heart started aching in pain by watching him standing in front of her. How it was possible that a mere presence of someone could hurt this bad, like someone was stripping her soul out of her body. It was hurting her, both mentally and physically. She was getting drained out of her emotions just by finding her under his mere presence.Zian gazed at her, longingly, desperate, restless. He had never longed for anyone or anything as much as he had longed just for her mere attention. Her ignorance was killing him from the past couple of weeks. Her absence had wrecked his heart and now when he was finally finding her eyes on him, he felt calmness. He felt serenity, even after knowing that now she was looking at him with no love or warmth, but at least she was looking at him. Now when he had finally found her, that little distance between them was burning his soul. It was making his heart bleed. He needed her closer or else

"Did you sleep well last night, Kaya?" Zia asked Kaya who was sitting on the sofa beside her uncle Damien. She swallowed and nodded. That was a full lie because she hadn't even slept a wink last night after what happened between them last night in her room. His words were echoing in her head like a venomous threat and it was trembling her mind in fear, but she had decided not to give up to her fear this time. She would fight and would not let him win and for that, she had already initiated her very first step."Are you waiting for someone, muffin?" Damien asked her as he caught her glancing at the main door from time to time. She wagged her head in her reply. She was waiting for someone really very important who she thought would help her in standing against Zian's insanity. She was about to tell her uncle Damien about whom she was waiting but before she could do that, she saw him entering the hall. His piercing blue eyes fell straight at her. She clenched her jaw and teared her eyes

"I and Kaya love each other. We want to get married as soon as possible," A complete silence prevailed in that hall after Leo uttered those words. Zia's eyes widened in shock whereas Damien looked at Leo a bit startled. As soon as those words escaped from Leo's mouth, Kaya's eyes snapped towards Zian's direction. Her breathing hitched, witnessing him glaring hard at Leo. His nostrils were flared whereas his jaw was tightly set. It felt like he was on the edge of murdering Leo at any second. Her heart started flapping inside her chest. Pure terror washed over her which made her tightly squeeze Leo's thigh under the table. Enduring that silence, Leo sighed and decided to break that silence. "I know this is sudden but Kaya and I have decided to take this step in our life," Damien got up on his feet, followed by everyone else. Kaya lowered her head in terror. She was just hoping that Zian would not create any scene here but as soon as her eyes fell on his clenched fists, her eyes wide

"How fucking dare you to hurt her, you bastard?" Damien's roaring voice seethed out. Kaya's eyes enlarged. Terror struck all over her head and body. Zian snapped his head and saw his father glaring at him and it made Zian clenched his jaw. He again stood up on his feet and towered his father. His soul shivering azure eyes peered back at his father's flaming emerald orbs with no fear."This is between me and her, so stay the fuck away from it," Zian growled back at his father. Kaya's widened gaze broadened more. Had he forgotten he was standing in front of his own father? How could he talk to him like that? His choice of words and tone made Damien balled his fists once again. Gritting his teeth, Damien punched Zian on his face again, tilting his head to the side. Zian and Kaya are coming back home after more than a month. Damien sighed, watching his wife's excitement and enthusiasm. He was also very happy, knowing they were finally coming back. His family was finally going to get completed. He was just hoping for his son's acceptance because Damien knew, somehow he was the reason behind his son having to suffer so much. He knew he couldn't become a good father because throughout his life, he focused on making his son a good person but he forgot that he needed to embrace his child's bad too. The sound of the door bell ringing gained the couple's attention. Damien saw his wife's eyes tinkling with happiness. He chuckled.

Zale laughed whereas Kaya chuckled."Wait, I forgot the dessert. I will get it from the kitchen," Kaya said and tried to get up from the chair but Zian stopped her."You finish your dinner. I am done with mine, so I will get it," he stated, making her smile. She wagged her head which he returned with a soft beam and then he left from that hall and went to the kitchen. Zian continued to gape at her like a statue whereas her tears refused to stop. She also gazed at him, like she was staring at her life's most valuable and precious belonging. She couldn't just believe she was about to lose him, just because of her ignorance and lack of awareness. He was suffering so much from the very beginning but here she was considering herself a victim. But her pain was nothing as compared to his because she was able to share it with the people around her but he was not even capable of telling about his pain to his own self, let alone sharing it with someone else."Zian, why did you leave home? You didn't get hurt somewhere, right? Please tell me," she cupped his face and asked him. Kaya still didn't pay attention to the fact that now her words had gotten its voice because she was too indulged in his pain to care about her own. "Because Zian knew that Damien would never let you be with him, no matter what and besides, he was aware of his mental health too that he would end up hurting you….." Zian knew you didn't deserve to be with someone like him who didn't even have control over his own emotions. He had told me that he has even tried to hurt you physically in his anger," her dried up eyes again glossed. She remembered that he had hurted her physically a lot of times, like grabbing her neck and wrist painfully. He had even hurted her badly that night when they both got intimate for the second time in his friend's resort. She had even seen his deadly possession everytime he had caught her with Leo. All those were the clear signals which she never tried to understand."After realising his feelings for you, he decided to let you go because he knew he would end up tainting you both mentally a

"Zian told me to come here so that I could take you back home," Her body stiffened, along with her heart, hearing her grandpa Zale. So that's why he has told him to come here? So that he could send her away. But isn't this what she was wanting? She had asked him this morning to take her back home then why was it not making her happy anymore? He was finally doing something right. He was rectifying his mistake then why was it bringing so much restlessness and pain to her? Was he right? Is her love so selfish? Zale silently watched that enormous amount of pain flashing in her eyes after he revealed that thing to her. Zian had called him today and told him to come here as soon as possible and took Kaya away from here. He asked him why suddenly and the answer he gave him was … "He told me you have asked him for something for the first time in his life, so he could never dare decline it," Zale uttered. Her eyes filled with tears when she noticed his entire presence turning emotionless. His grip automatically started loosening around her hands but she held them firmly."You know this is wrong. What you have done is wrong. We can't live our life like this," she tried to make him understand because after last night, Kaya understood the more she would fight with him the more insane his madness was going to be, so she decided to deal with him calmly and with no facade of anger."We would never be able to live our life happily by running away from our past. We have to face it, so please take me back home, please…" a tear slipped down from her eyes as she begged him. He didn't answer but co
