Kaya's entire existence went numb the second she splashed that water on him. She had done it in her defence but the moment she got done doing it, she started regretting it more than if she would have been getting attacked by him.

Her horror filled eyes broadened more when he rubbed down his palm all over his wet face and finally trailed his sapphire burning eyes at her face. Kaya's heart beat accelerated in fear when she noticed that rage burning in his eyes. He was looking malicious. His jaw was tightly set. Even his ears had turned red with fury. Kaya thought now he was going to end her on the spot for her bravery but he did the exact opposite of her expectations.

Maybe the author should have given the book a different title like "Ignorance vs Innocense". I can see that Zian's only experiences love from getting his penis wet.
