"Is something bothering you, Kaya?"

Kaya turned her head to look at Leo. They both were present inside his car and he was driving it.

Kaya shook her head in her reply. It had been more than minutes since he had picked her up from her home but she didn't even try to initiate a conversation with him like she used to do every time they used to meet, and her silent behaviour turned Leo suspicious.

Kaya couldn't and didn't dare to tell him the reason behind her abnormal silence because she knew the havoc it would create after she would tell him the truth, that how Zian behaved with her this morning after Leo left from home. She knew Leo would not let her stay with him anymore and he would even tell about all of this to her uncle Damien and after her uncle Damien got to know about any of this then she was sure everything would turn into a terrible mess which would hurt and harm Zian the most and Kaya didn't want to hurt him once again. His each and every second of behaviour was making her recall Paul and that inhumanity he used to do to her 5 years ago. She was seeing Paul in him. In fact, the fear she was feeling towards him was more vigorous than the fear she used to feel towards Paul. After he left her room last night, Kaya started weeping like a little baby. She just felt like her old self who used to cry and beg for help but no one ever helped her until that day when her un

Next morning, Zian woke up from his sleep and felt something snuggling into his chest. He looked down and saw her rubbing her face against his chest. Her arms were wrapped around his back. Their legs were tangled under the duvet. He remembered falling asleep last night while staring at her face and the thing which stunned him the most was after 5 long years, he got such a peaceful sleep last night while holding her in his arms. The empty and coldness of waking up alone every morning in all those years had finally gotten replaced by that serene warmth of hers. His eyes gazed at her thoroughly as she was still asleep. Her dark long lashes were shielding her golden orbs from showing. Her tiny button nose was standing happily in between her beautiful chubby cheeks. Her small round face was covered with strands of her silky brown hair. His behaviour, his actions, something was wrong with him but what? They both peered into each other's eyes. Zian saw those questions emerging in her eyes which made him leave her arm. "Let's get inside. You will get ill under this weather," he told her. She finally realised that the weather here was really very chilly as compared to her hometown.
